Trumps Big Gift

The move comes as Boeing continues to fumble the $3.9 billion taxpayer-funded contract to deliver two new state-of-the-art planes — a project that was originally supposed to be completed last year.

But due to years of engineering blunders, supplier issues, and what insiders describe as “bureaucratic incompetence,” the aerospace giant has fallen so far behind schedule that it now fears it won’t meet the deadline before Trump finishes his second term.

Same with this 'gift' its not the plane that cost 4billion , its conversion to AF-1 , same or more cost would be involved in using this Qatari plane if its to be used for govermental business let alone for president , it would get torn down to bare metal and interior would end at auction or scrap heap.
Then a multi billion bespoke build with host of top secret juice would commence , so unless US lacks donnor planes for the boeing chop shop this thing will just end up costing shit load of money while also not getting used. Only way this does not cost shit load is if they sell it off.

Its bad enough Trump JR shook down Emiratis for 2 billion investment into Trump ponzi coin ,optics of taking such gifts not good

CFE BLK powder is too sensitive to temperature.
Shooting all year round, powder sensitivity introduces significant variables into the process.
Since the temperature difference is from (35 °C) 95 ℉ in the summer to (0 °C) 32 ℉ in the winter.
For example 11.4 CFE (the rest of the settings are the same)the difference in speed is 1080 -950 fps at the corresponding temperature difference
Maybe single base powder will solve this problem? If so, which one?
Swiss RS powder is available locally, almost the entire product line
Besides CFE I also have A1680 but it is almost the same.
Are you shooting from a bolt gun or semi ? If you’re using a bolt gun you need to explore the faster powders such as N105.

Rifle Scopes Reticles: thru scope pics! ZCO, TT, NF, S&B, Minox, Horus, Steiner, Kahles, March, Vortex, and More!

Is the view through the scope of the 5-42 gen1/FML-TR1 basically the same? Just trying to get a view of the tree. I like that you designed it to be significantly less obtrusive.
It is substantially the same. I assumed you saw the video I did on the Gen1 a long time ago Login to view embedded media since you specifically asked about Gen2.

Air Gun Picture Thread

Was out playing with the ghost today...only to find that there was no breech seal in the rifle. Still did some shooting, and honestly a few did show potential. Waiting for tomorrow for the correct seal and I will try again. Hoping this will allow the gun to shoot slugs, if not I may be moving it for something else.

Should have just gone with the Epic Two instead....still kicking myself for that.

Angle shooting

I always want 3-5 ways to skin the cat. While gizmos and techy stuff make life easy, I want to know how the tecky program was written. If I can duplicate it with the math, that is all I need to do. I don't plan on taking an abacus and slide rule into the field. If I can prove the tecky gizmo to be good, I take the tecky gizmo into the field. Some programs round MOA, some round MILs, some round distance and some angles. By the time everything is converted from yards to Mils to degrees ..., things can get skewed. When I do the math, I carry decimal points out as far as the calculator will allow. For me ONLY the final answer is rounded. This way I know if the tecky gizmo is rounding at the end or all the way thru the process. Kind of like tolerance stacking. If all the parts are "in tolerance" but yet things don't work right. Then maybe all the parts were at their max tolerance and the final product is shitty.

Rifle Competition Events Geisselle match at Coleman’s Creek

About half of the stages had pistol, each stage took about 10 shots, IF you didn’t miss. Lol. Usually there were 5 plates, with two hits per plate, and as simple as this is, it is easy to get messed up, because you are trying to GO, so you can get on your rifle and start shooting. Heavy penalties for leaving targets not hit. The plates were usually generous sized, but they put them out just far enough to be challenging. 90 sec on each stage had you trying to get that pistol done! Most rifle stages took 10 to 18 rounds or so IF you had good hits. I saw multiple shooters doing mag changes because of the challenge of positional shooting. Fox targets at distance are very narrow, throw in a quartering wind and position changes between targets, all while knowing you had pistol AFTER the rifle part. Yes I wish I had that stage to do over. Targets had to be shot, in order, to advance. Going to war with target three with dope from target two doesn’t work too good. I may have done that also. I have to laugh at my self sometimes. Those two brain farts knocked me out of the high senior award. Seriously, it was a fun match. Hard enough to be challenging, but getting enough hits to feel ok about your performance. I will shoot more of them. I may go and RO the July match. Many ROs said they had trouble getting enough people, and we can’t shoot without them, so I may go help next time instead. I wish I could shoot a match like that every weekend. Sorry to be so long winded. Lastly, a TON of thanks to SH for the shooting lesson last week. My score was better due to your help. Now I need to find a good memory care doctor and I will be GTG for the next match.
