(Oh brother), I'm not denigrating your theories, but that they're involve multiple people keeping the truth secret MAKES THEM A CONSPRIACY. The Kennedy Assassination WAS a conspiracy. There are many theories, and while the government may have used those words to denigrate people who didn't believe thier narrative, it's now common usage, and after covid I don't think there are many people who still believe what press agents put out. You don't have to be in The Unit to understand that.


Just as Social Security is not technically a Ponzi scheme, because everyone knows that it is a pyramid scheme and bankrupt, so to is a theory that requires the complicity of dozens or hundreds of individuals keeping something skeptical, mark me down in The Unit's ledger as being skeptical...unless, there would be a national security reason and the people would keep it secret out of a sense of duty or real fear of consequences, and I don't mean to all the criminals, but to all of us who, as you point out, had nothing to do with it.

It looks like the fore end is wider than ARCA in both options anyway. If the fore ends were longer, i wouldn't want a spigot. It looks like they are about 4" longer than standard bravo fore end which is probably close to how much the spigot extends in that application, so maybe i wouldn't care to add one? Standard Bravo fore end length is definitely too short to not have a spigot with full length arca for me.. I have a spigot on my OG MPA BA Comp and i like having the option to put the bipod that far forward.

Must be about 10 years ago now, at our old house. My dog that just died of cancer a couple years ago. He hated fireworks and one morning after new years he kept coming and jumping in bed with us, wanting attention then jumping down and trotting out of the room. The third time I hear a noise and splat. He made it through the hall around corner into the living room just past the floor heater. About 20% of that splat went in the floor heater and it kicked on just as i walked out to see what the noise and splat were. He is looking all guilty, like sorry but I told ya. Some of the worst things are some of the funniest memories. the smell, oh the smell. Even after all the cleaning for years the first time the heater was on for year you would get a hint of it.

Not much to add, I would do this if it were mine.

1. make sure the top of the concrete form work is level. You don't want to fight the door one way or the other. (I'm sure you know this, it is something people overlook).

2. Know where the anchor points are in the safe, I'm hoping they are closer to the inside vs outside. Personally would run rebar along the of the vertical dowels, you intend on installing. You would want that to be outside the bolts to anchor the safe. If for some reason you are unable to achieve that, have the bolt ( especially wedge anchor). Installed in the original slab, that will help keep your new pad from braking.

Why do you think such fight against release. Self delusion is one of the hardest things to overcome and on national level - borderline impossible. Once past the Carter years and we started training, I spent more time in MOPP 4 than I care to remember. I did pull a year with a staff job in 7th AF in Korea. Anytime a phase II was on the books, I scheduled a SAV at another location.

I'm considering going this direction too and would like whichever gives more real estate for the fore-end on props with a bipod and allows weight to be added further forward. Edit: answered my own question. Looks like nearly the same length and no-go on spigot for both.. The pro fore end seems to be the one a guy would want but its twice the price i've paid for every bravo i've owned haha!

I've always liked a German #4 design for hunting, and the IHR is nicely done with center only illumination.

With it being a SFP scope I don't need all the modern reticles with 0.2 Mil holds and obnoxious illuminated Christmas trees.

This is going on a hunting rifle where shots will never exceed 300 yards.

2.5-10 with simple reticle is all I need.

All of this, rebar in drilled holes won’t hold shit. You don’t need to tack it though, the concrete will bond to the anchors holding it down and the rebar/mesh is just to give the slab strength. If you want added strength get the stud kind of anchors and after you run the nut down to expand it take two more nuts and thread on and tighten them together a few inches up.

I don’t know why you want to put plastic down but it isn’t going to do shit other than cause a moisture barrier that works both ways. You’re also just going to tear it up and drill holes through it to anchor the safe. Same with carpet, there’s no point as it will just hold moisture against the safe. If you want added protection then paint the bottom of the safe with a few thick coats of POR-15 and set it right on top of your slab.
