Follow the Vision Pro specs. 65 in/lbs on action.


Now some will do stuff like 15 front and 15 back and then 30 front and 30 back and then 45 front and 45 back and then 65 front and 65 back. It doesn’t hurt anything and if you want to do that then go for it but I usually put in my 65in/lbs torque limiter and snug front and snug back and then a little more front and a little more back and then to the clicks on limiter on front and then back. Doesn’t need to be super specific to the values used to get to 65.

Forgot to add I do it with the stock butt on ground and muzzle up so recoil lug is set against stock/chassis lug recess.

I'm waiting for mine to come (center mount version). If it doesn't work with my setup mounting it under the scope I don't see why any of the 90deg offset mounts available would not allow side mounting it, unless I'm missing something...

I’m glad something was figured out even if in theory that it could be an issue with the rifle itself and not pointing the finger at the end user. “You sure you are setting up the mag right?”

I did a quick revisit with a different mount setup for a magnifier after quite a few years. After mounting the gun one time, I sighed the same "fuck this shit" feeling came rushing over me.

Well, I received a letter (email actually) that despite all of the “we’re determined to develop this area…” stuff and them asking me to hold on and not get frustrated and “it takes many months to get an area back…” …..Informing me they are pulling the plug on my area and as of the 30th I am no longer employed.

It is frustrating to have let so many other opportunities go, to have put up with all of the slow times to just have them yank it all.

The “you are an exceptional employee” just makes me more angry. Not even a phone call. The email had “Hi Paul! Attached is your layoff letter…” exclamation mark just like that as if it was announcing I had won a prize.



Enough wallowing, I know something else is planned for me.

Please pray for me, I don’t want to go on the unemployment dole…
