“Texas Plinking” 1 MOA/1K Yard Challenge Videos

Good job! You beat me by 1 point! I got a 3rd round hit and never connected on the 1/2 moa. Sweet set up too!

Like I said about my attempt, shooting position is blocked from the wind then there’s a slight valley between shooter and target. The wind up where the bullet is traveling has to be much greater. I dialed 1.7 and ended up holding an addition 1mil to get my impact.

Looked like you had a good group to shoot with!

Consistency, or lack thereof

I hear ya, but having burned up many jugs of Varget, I would be suspicious without checking and knowing… and a borescope is better than waiting for blown primers or worse…
Having burned up many, many jugs of Varget in 308s from 155s to 200s over the last 20 years or so, it's really not an issue.

Having and using a borescope isn't a terrible idea, but of all the things that might be going on with this guy's rifle, a carbon ring is one of the very last rocks I'd be turning over.

Dem lawmakers say their voters are threatening 'blood' and 'violence' over inability to hinder Trump: report

These threads are always full or LARPers “they don’t stand a chance, it’ll be over quick…blah blah blah” we had trouble fighting jungle Asians and people 2 steps above troglodytes with billions in weaponry. Don’t forget the 10-12 year olds with near zero training smoking our guys.
Pretty sure you can replace the Jung

Printed Precision Trickler

The easiest way to know if you got a good calibration is to look at the reported per-kernel weight and make sure it's reasonable. varget/h4350 should be in the .02-.03 range. If it's lower than that you prob have too much in the trickler and are getting double drops. If it's higher, you might be getting a lot of blank slots for some reason. Also yes, it will learn and adjust constantly, but the first few throws might be more likely to be overs as it locks in.

To dump the trickler just pull the whole thing off the base and dump it. Be careful if you didn't tape or glue the two base pieces together that you don't have too much in the bulk hopper or it can tip.

Rifle Scopes Atacr gen 2

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 4-16ATACR. And given my "if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck" life pattern, the announcement will drop shortly after I get it mounted and zeroed. :ROFLMAO:
My TBAC 338 Gen 1 can arrived at my dealer the same day they announced a Gen 2.

I do not believe the 7-35 is so popular because it offers 35x as much as it is optically superior to their 5-25 model.
I think you are spot on with this assessment. I wasn't super impressed with the two 5-25s I had. Both the 4-16 and 7-35 feel like steps up. I wouldn't mind trying their 4-20x some day, but just can't justify the price when I love my 4-16.

Precision Rifle Gear Chad vs Botnia

I've put quite a few rounds through both. Setting being on PRS open rigs in 6.5 Creed & 6 Dasher, and NRL Hunter Open Heavy rifle in 6.5 Creed. They're very good, but a but different. That said, in my use cases I don't think you'd be able to really tell in a 6mm. 6.5 is where I was able to notice differences. See below...
Chad: Keeps rifle flatter. Blast isn't bad on the shooter. If you shoot under cover (roof), then it feels a bit louder than I'd like. Nice that I can use 5/8 and 3/4 muzzle threads. Blast isn't a loud ringing, but more of a wave of air the washes over you.
Maxi: Less recoil and feels softer, but little more muzzle rise. Nicer when shooting under a roof. Nicer/easier way to set timing on the barrel. Blast isn't bad on the shooter. I "see" the blast more in my peripherals.

Thanks, thats useful feedback

Rifle Case

Back and forth to the range, soft case is fine. But, I like a hard case for overnight trips where the rifle might be piled in with a bunch of other crap. I don’t really worry what is sitting on top of a hard case. This isn’t an issue when the trip just calls for a rifle and a range bag.
