6.5x55, consider going with a Sendero or Medium Palma taper barrel.

Not from what he wrote. His test is not a tracking test ( checks repeatability) but seems to be about checking that it matches known dope. He’s telling yall that it’s not tracking.
A chronograph has nothing to do with it.
OP,
what barrel length are you running with those speeds and charge? thank youFinally had time over the last 2 weeks to finish load development on my custom 7 PRC. Here is my load I worked up in my rifle:
Peterson Brass (2.2630”) trimmed (wet tumbled, & annealed)
(3) thousandth neck tension
Federal 215m Match Primer
(66.20g) H1000
Berger 190g LRHT
AVG group size: (.25”)
AVG muzzle velocity: 2970fps
(Chronograph data was taken today for the 4th confirmation group)
They've been known to let a few slip out the doorIt's a Leupold... That's a feature op
They will pass on the price hike on inventory they had at the "standard gouging rate" instantly.I'm not sure we will know how this plays out for a while yet. There was a mad rush in March/April to get in inventory before tariffs hit. Until vendors run out of inventory on hand I think it will stay flat.
Craddock just made the barrel and headspaced the JP bolt to it.Shoot, if Craddock put it together, give them a call.
My knee jerk is that rounds are getting buggered up during cycling. Chamber a round and check it before shooting it. Have you tried a different magazine?
Already sent the barrel back.... No issues found. Can't see it's anything with the barrel since it shot a 0.147" group single feeding it. I have to conclude that the rifle is accurate, my loads are accurate and I can shoot it accurately.... But something is happening during the BCG cycling that is screwing up something.... What that something is I have no idea......Shoot a 5x5 from the mag, then another single feeding.
Do this for 4 or 5 different seating depths and 4 or 5 neck tensions.
By the time you have enough data to figure it out, it’ll be time to call up Craddock for another barrel.
Or… accept that sub moa (which the left group appears to be) is exceptional for any semi auto.
Yep.... Magpul and a $90.00 Larue... No difference.Shoot, if Craddock put it together, give them a call.
