Any plans to carry them on PRSTF? I'm always looking to support the forum sponsors.I just got a demo unit
they are not bad, smaller in person that they look in pictures
They are little bit of a pain to turn off,
but turning on and starting the timer is no problem
But was the spring the actual problem or something else? The only gain you will get with a flat wire spring is increased life, if both flat and rd wire springs are the same weight rating. I like flat wire springs in pistols, they do seem smoother, but that is purely subjective. Most of my ar's have giessele wrapped springs or springco rd wire springs.I feel like most people get them because it doesn't make the sproingy sound. Almost every time someone has an issue with an A5 buffer system I've also noticed that they're using a flat wire spring too. Coincidence?
I'm just saying that other than a bit of extra noise, milspec springs work and I'd prefer to put the money towards ammo.
Blasphemy…
Have you never heard of the Greek god “Maximus Erectus”?
The Greeks have been competing in this subject for millennia against the Chinese.

From keyboard-distance, if you can't feel it with your fingernail and the brass chambers/fires/extracts normally, I wouldn't be concerned about running it. The machining of the die isn't great, but it may not make a meaningful difference. Based on the pics, I'm surprised it won't catch a fingernail, but if it won't then it probably isn't a concern. I'd be more concerned with the horrible condition of that case mouth.
