You think I can? I don't want to hit the .308 wall everyone talks about... 🤣🤣
Oh my bad. I wasn't sure if that was a .308 or 6.5 because you said you shot 6.5 this weekend.

If that is a .308 you should head to the 10 yard pistol range. Bullet drop should be manageable at that distance...

I mean honestly, if it doesn’t matter to most if it’s berry or non berry compliant then it’s all good. For me, I always ask the manufacturer or vendor before buying any lasers. Rather we care if it’s 100 % DOD approved is all up to the buyer. I’m just laying it down to anyone who is concern if it is or not. Really it doesn’t matter.. Believe or not to believe. Let’s move on..

And as far back as 10,000 years...

Little is actually known of the Esselen, but anthropologists and historians have drawn a number of conclusions. The Esselen presence in Central California dates back 10,000 years. Evidence suggests that they were drawn here by the hot springs, which were used for healing (the Esselen word for the springs was believed to mean "the god in the waters"). They were a short, stocky people, with dark hair and eyes. Light-skinned at birth, they were reputed to turn a dull black from so much time in the sun. The men had facial hair.

Don’t we all usually ask the vendors if the lasers we purchasing is berry or non berry? Well at least I do. And they all give an answer.

I wasn’t sure what it was and I just looked it up. It related more to textile stuff like yarn cotton etc.

Also mentioned specialty metal. Would have to look beyond google to figure it out. Could be a way for manufacturers to try to get their products by mentioning it even if it doesn’t apply?

Origins

Distribution map of the Esselen language in California prior to contact with European cultures
Archaeological and linguistic evidence indicates that the original people's territory once extended much farther north, into the San Francisco Bay Area, until they were displaced by the entrance of Ohlone people. Based on linguistic evidence, Richard Levy places the displacement at around AD 500.[2][3] Breschini and Haversat place the entry of Ohlone speakers into the Monterey area prior to 200 B.C. based on multiple lines of evidence. Carbon dating of excavated sites places the Esselen in the Big Sur since circa 2630 BCE.[4] Recently, however, researchers have obtained a radiocarbon date from coastal Esselen territory in the Big Sur River drainage dated prior to 6,500 years ago (archeological site CA-MNT-88).[5]

So, if any one could lend a hand, it would be you.

Interesting how tribes and peoples often were described by something simple.

For example, the word kansas means "people of the south wind," also the inspiration for the hit song by the band, Kansas. Slight side story:

One of the things that irked Steve Walsh, the most well known singer and the one everyone knows, was people asking about his heritage and if he was native american. He has that look but does not know because he was adopted and evidently could not get the information and now is not interested. Granted, Steve is a bit shy. Second singer and violinist Robby Steinhardt often did the patter between songs.

Now, how do I celebrate that my maternal grandfather was from Germany?

I think many people take for granted that they know their family’s history, I’m 51 and will never know who my paternal grandfather is. I couldn’t even confirm my indigenous side from my maternal grandfather until he passed away. Thank goodness one of my cousins that I didn’t know until recently did all the legwork on our indigenous background and lives in the area. The missions apparently have good record keeping so our ancestry is traced back to the late 1700’s. So my boys and I have been in a tribe for over 6 years. It’s very interesting to say the least.
