Erblestock Mainframe replacement waist belt

Any ideas or suggestions to replace the waist belt on one of these packs. The factory one never broke in, I finally just took it off the pack.
Not sure what your mission is but I highly recommend ditching the Eberlestock. They don't handle weight well and will make a long trip miserable!! Exo Mtn Gear for the win. Stone Glacier would be number 2....just my .02

Hunting & Fishing First Western Elk Hunt…Essential Gear/Clothing Advice Needed

Those areas actually have Designated Wilderness Areas so make sure you are aware of additional regulations…

Late November in those areas should be cold and elevation will be an issue. Certainly the elk will be there, locating them will be the hardest part.

ETA: Damn, I almost forgot to mention those are grizzly areas as well! No shit! Make sure you have a plan and watch your 6.
Thanks. I’m assuming he is aware of the regulations of camping/hunting there, but will confirm.

Yeah Grizz is a concern in my mind! What’s the best option for a non-hunter? Bear spray? Glock17? Suppressed 6.5 Grendel SBR?

Hunting & Fishing First Western Elk Hunt…Essential Gear/Clothing Advice Needed

Sounds like yall are day packing. Which is fine if that’s how you want to roll.

What makes me uncomfortable is when you say smaller tents if further away with no other context. That’s another matter.

On one end, you have the couch and kitchen sink with you by the trucks. On the other hand, if you’re backpacking in and or bivy hunting, you’ll have only what you pack. Changing plans on the fly is weird if you’re not set up to do the backpacking.
That’s pack, stove, food, sleeping system, hunting stuff like kill kit, maybe a spotter and tripod, layers, and so forth.

Especially in November. It does snow out there. The wind and chill can be pretty good especially at high up on cliff faces with no breaks. There’s a good amount of that in 86. The news is there plenty of animals, access and land.
He has hunted solo in these 2 units for several years, has camp stove, jet stove/cooker, game bags, kill kit, spotting scope, tripods, etc.

I think my 2 sleeping bags are 40deg. What do we need?

He’s hoping for snow!

Tactical Restaurant Seating

Which seat is tactical at Waffle House?

None of them
Waffle houses are a wonderful place for mover practice, as most are so drunk your leads are almost nothing even wall to wall.

Depends on where the bathrooms are

if there are no bathrooms...........depends lol
I agree with @DarnYankeeUSMC None of the seats are tactical seats. One never knows when there will be an airborne entry into your seating area.

DNI Tulsi Gabbard releases report on Treasonous Conspiracy against Trump

Does Brennan have a 'get out of jail free' card??

At least one that was not signed with an autopen by a drooling kumquat?

So... while former Presidents may well be able to skate... how about their droogies?

Sirhr

PS. Brennan was not on the pardon list. When the music stops... he has no chair!

Euro Optic shipping procedures SUUUUCK!

Wow. I'd say that falls on UPS for releasing the package to someone without an ID matching the recipient on the package, but good luck getting UPS to admit fault and pay up. Having dealt with their insurance before they make it as time consuming as possible hoping you give up, lol

Whenever I held signature required packages at the local UPS hub they always required a photo ID matching the name and address on the box.

Man I can tell some crazy shipping stories, but I would likely get in trouble. Even when shipping companies are 100% at fault getting them to admit that and do anything about it is not easy.

Just don't overdo it and round the edges. I did that and had to re-square them. Try to keep them square, not radiused.

I used a square surgical black arkansas stone. I would not go coarser than about 6000 grit, personally. Slow and steady wins the race.

Also, if you've done the "Porkan trigger mod" and filed your safety shoe, this mod may not be compatible with a functioning safety, depending on how you adjust your sear engagement. To get to 12-16 oz, I have my sear on a rabbit hair, about 1/8th turn from not engaging. That's what you have to do to get much below 2# pull weight - adjust the sear engagement. I had to buy a new safety shoe, which they gouge you $120 for. Ouch. Been meaning to get the original (Porkan filed away) safety shoe TIG welded up and reprofiled to original dimensions, but haven't bothered yet.
