My father has a couple of Blasers for hunting, a .308 and .270 that I shoot frequently. They are both very, very accurate. I am having a custom build made for my son's college graduation present and using the Strasser 700 Lefty action with a PVA Osprey barrel in .308. The Strasser action is SMOOTH and has a very solid lock up. It feels like it's gliding on ball bearings it's so smooth, and there is zero play in it. that's why I went with it. To me it just "felt" better than the Blaser. I feel certain it will be accurate as well, especially with the PVA barrel and the Smith I'm using. Hope to have it in the next month and will gladly give an update.

@BowChamp I retract my previous statement… I agree, that rifle is absolute junk….

I know a guy in CA that will gladly trade you some funds for it.. message me!

It's common for me to make points by asking questions that I already have the answers to. So, how many BR threads are there across the entirety of the internet that started eight years ago, has more than 1,000,000 views, over 12,000 replies and nearly 240 pages?

Second, how many repeaters with a bipod and rear bag are sitting amongst purpose built single shots in sophisticated shooting rests on a BR range shooting as well as those purpose-built single shots? So why would they not find something to bellow about?

I'd agree that you have nothing to complain about, and great job, BowChamp.

It's actually amazing how much faith we put in shipping companies. Just personally, I have all sort of shipping horror stories. I had a Manners TCS delivered to the completely wrong address by FedEX. They took a picture of the package on the doorstep, it wasn't my doorstep. It wasn't even remotely on the same street. Luckily, I did some super sleuthing and canvassed the neighborhood looking for a porch that matched the picture and low and behold my stock was there. The look on the cat ladies face was priceless when I rang her doorbell and reclaimed my package.

I bet Mile High and EuroOptic both have lost a shitload of money through shipping fubars. Tough proposition when most of your business is through the internet I bet. I guess the juice must still be worth the squeeze though.

This week, ICE and the FBI have been hitting cruise ships. 13 Philippine crew on Carnival Sunshine at Virginia port and a Royal Caribbean ship out of FL had 18 crew deported without prosecution for Child Pornography. Not sure why they weren’t put in prison. Visas stripped and sent home.
