I only reload for to calibers . . . .308 and 6.5 PRC. My SD's run between 4 to 7.5, the higher number typically do to a higher number of shots, like 20 or more. When fire forming some new .308 Alpha brass, using my best load that I've been using, got an SD of 6.2 from 80 shots.

On another occasion, I got some Remington 9 1/2 primers to try for the first time and using a power I hadn't used in a long time and it produce an SD of 20.4 with 45 rounds fired. What the H . . .??? Going to my favorite load but with these 9 1/2's and managed an SD of 14.2 with just 10 shots. A month later, I tried another load with a good powder and 40 shots got me an SD 14.4. What's left if this brick of 9 1/2's is ready to given away as I can't get them to do well. All my other various primers have worked well with those loads giving me single digit SD's . . . including Remington 7 1/2's. Apparently, this batch of 9 1/2's are just not consistent as the other primers I have.

Because my reloading process has consistently given me low to mid single digit SD's over the years, I've got a lot of confidence in my reloading procedure:

Deprime
Anneal
Wet tumble (no pins) or remove outer oxidation from annealing with steel wool for small jobs
Clean primer pockets
FL Size, no expander ball, using 4-5 seconds dwell time
Dry Tumble with rice media
Expand necks to neck tension with mandrel
3-way trim to length (Giraud).
Prime to consistent seating depth
Charge with very consistent powder weights (using FX-120i)
Seat bullets to very consistent seating depth.

But. . . there's other things I do that's not part of the regular process:
* Uniform primer pockets
* Debur flash holes
* Turn necks
* Sort primers by weight
* Sort bullets by BTO (where comparator touches same place as the seating pin)
* Weigh batch of brass and cull out the outliers

All of this helps with SD's and most importantly what I get on targets. Is all of this necessary for a hunting gun? NOPE! How about a basic off the shelf factory gun? NOPE! But I find it all can help a decent factory gun or one that's been given a good barrel. But not everyone has the time to do a lot of this like I do nor likes taking the time to do it.

I have a k540i. Use it on a 22lr comp gun. I also have a ZCO on another, similar rifle set up.

No issues with the k540.
FOV is great. Glass is par (or close). Controls are smooth and fluid. Fit and finish is fantastic. Tracks and returns perfectly.

My issue with it is the massive ocular . I run a really short LOP and needed to use the 419 mid cantilever mount. It currently lives on a Vudoo 360 so it plays well with a 60* bolt throw, but don’t like it on the Rimx with a 90* throw.

Yes, just double checked the box. The neoprene cover, lens cloth, T10 tool, 3x remote holders, "zero it" packet are all in there. The only thing that I am sure I don't have would be the little torque wrench for the 1/2" nuts and the battery for the unit that would have been included.

Ok, Here. We. Go!

After an incredible number of hours over three and a half months creating an entire line of precision rimfire magazines, I can show that the project is in an incredible place.

With parts right off the machines, no post ops for blasting, finish, etc., the DDG-V2210 Gen 2 Aluminum Magazine has come to life, and I. Am. Stoked! There's never a time I love doing this more than when a project hits this point.

So, what's next?

I have two minor adjustments to make that will truly take this over-the top, and a couple things to adjust in programming, and the entire line gets switched on.

I have Pre-Orders for the V2210, V2212 and V2215s, so I'm opening the Pre-Order for the V2217 and the entire X-Series line (X2210, X2212, X2215, X2217). The Pre-Order price is still $138, which I'll make available for the next two weeks.

The larger number of Pre-Orders are for the V2210, so they'll be in production first, followed by the V2215, then the V2212. Order of production following delivery of all Pre-Orders will be demand based.

I casually and poorly played for twenty years with coworkers. The interesting thing about hitting a tree is the total variety of ways it can turn out. Stuck in tree, bounce straight back and land at your feet, bounce yardss further back from where you hit it, bounce into the fairway, drop at the very base with roots right under the surface, and once even hit just right with a topspin and bounced onto the green.

Best I could tell, the cameras that caught the fuzzy pictures of him on the roof were not focus on the roof specifically and were taking large views of the whole crowd and venue. They were only discovered upon review. I haven’t seen any credible eyewitness accounts of having noticed him before the shooting.

I did NOT say suppressors make the report completely quiet. I SAID that at 200 yds downrange you wouldn't HEAR it due to the loud supersonic crack. This I know from actual experience, not speculation. And that is exactly what the sound on the video sounded like TO ME. I'll go ahead and say I was wrong in this instance, but I'm still not fully convinced we're getting the whole story. An 8 year old can't decide they're vegan anymore than change their sex. My house.....my rules. All 6 of my kids went through public school in Komifornia.....albeit very rural.
