I'd talk to an estate attorney and likely a tax attorney (that know OH laws) as soon as possible. There is a real possibility that there are legal and financial moves that can be made by your uncle that could save your family a whole lot of money down the road and that might not be available after he passes. I'd also ask the uncle for a run down, and maybe even an in-person introduction to his neighbors and friends in the area so you get an idea of who can be trusted, who can't be trusted, and who might be a good candidate to rely upon for help in the future (or keep an eye on the farm once the uncle passes so things don't go missing once the neighbors find out). I'd also work with the uncle to get an accurate list of any valuable personal property and equipment so you will know if anything goes missing.

Latest word I have from a grad is that it was a hoax/accident. Dude who was kicked out sent a message saying he was gonna shoot up the place with a spoofed ip address that made it look like he was on campus. Apparently an amped-up midshipman clubbed a real cop with his parade rifle because he thought it was the (fake) shooter, and the cop shot the midshipman in self defense.

What a clusterfuck.

Not official obviously, this whole story I was given could be wrong; no real info out there that I can find.

The double wide its a liability. and as said above lease the place to neighbor(s) straight lease or crop share arrangement. If you are never going to work it your self sell the equipment as well neighbors may want some or all. Down the road build a new house on the non ag part of the property. Again as noted above legal counsel can help before and after he has gone to the big orchard in the sky. No idea lease rates for an orchard but may provide you a little cash.

I've seen projos deviate their track 90 degrees and greater from the direction of entry once inside a body. BTHP and FMJ are particularly squirrely. There is even a documented case of that from a few years ago when an LE sniper made a perfect HR shot and the bullet exited 90 degrees from the direction of entry killing the suspect AND the hostage.

I've also seen bone blown out of a limb or extremity and do massive secondary damage to unprotected soft tissue.

In the scheme of things, it doesn't matter and they may never release those details.

I just hope and pray that they find the actual suspect and do so convincingly so neither you or I have much remaining suspicion. We all need a little shot of confidence in at least part of our system.

It's possible the bullet hit chest and exited neck, or pushed bone out from the neck. But yeah... at this point. Don't think it matters. And it's pretty gruesome either way.

Since he has already leased out part of the property to his neighbors that farm, I would talk with them as well to see if they would be willing to lease the orchard part as well and keep that going when he passes away. Assuming that is what you want to do.

At the present, do you spend any time with him during the year? If you don't, then I doubt that you will spend much time there after you retire and he passes away, since you are in the Phoenix area. I don't mean anything personal by asking that.

I and my sister still have my Mom's place on a Lake that is nice. It is only 2 hrs away from me, but I only go there a couple of times a year when my sister comes up to visit. That is why I ask.

Shit makes me lose hope in this place. The very fabric of our society has been eroding for the 34yrs I’ve been here and it seems to be heading in only one direction as society becomes more and more deprived of their morality.

Like the title says I was wondering why it’s not there for the use of the custom curve. Only two are listed for mine and a buddies 5700 elite center x and Midas+. Also Lapua only lists G1 and it’s at .172. Next super long range, long range, x-act, and center x all have the same G1 BC of .172. So I guess my only choice is it run that G1 Lapua gives? Any help is appreciated!
