Powder IN-STOCK thread

Midway had GM215M available for less than 5 mins. I got the email, logged on, and they were gone. :(
good news is, they appear to be coming in stock more frequent or Midway just sends the emails out to crush our hopes and dreams.
Gotta be fast

I saw the email and figured I'd stock up 215m's and was able to submit an order before they went OOS.

Rimfire Rifle Photos Thread

What is your view on that B&C stock it looks like a nice stock.
Very surprised it didn’t require any adjustment other than opening up the barrel channel. Action fit is good. Only bedded the lug. The bottom metal inlet and depth are perfect. The comb hardware is a budget copy of Terry Cross stuff. It works but it’s just not as robust as the original. At around $500 new it’s not cheap but is a viable alternative if you can’t find a used McM or Manners. I wouldn’t hesitate to use another.

Sour Dough Balistics

@whiskeytower

Some things I use all the time.
5-6qt cast iron Dutch oven covered half the bake to steam the loaf.

Single sandwich size cast iron loaf pans, foil used as lid.

Kitchen scale, big plastic spoon, plastic handled spatula, a plastic bowl scraper and a repurposed spice shaker for bench flour.
Also a bench scraper.
I use repurposed plastic jugs from pig skins etc. to keep flour and 3x5 index cards for recipes held in place on the ball jars I also forgot to mention lol

I cant think of much else I need.

Parallax and focus not same on Razor G3

Just curious if others have seen this. At the range yesterday with my new Razor Gen3 and had targets at 400 yards. Set parallax to 400 and it was removed, dot didn’t shift as I moved my head.

But image was not crisp. If I turned parallax knob to best focus, I was on about 120 yards and yes dot did move so parallax was not removed.

Not a huge deal when parallax set correct but would still prefer the crispest image possible when set properly

Don't be fooled, conservatives in U.S. are all alone.

In this part of the country people like him come into gun stores all the time. They moved up from California to escape the results of their fucked up ideas. Someone on a democrat website told them they need guns. They ask for either a "Glock with high capacity magazines ", and are genuinely surprised to find out that there are 40 different "Glocks" and they made hi caps illegal. So they check their texts and ask for " the 9mm one". Then are confounded that there are several choices.

Or they ask for the "cheapest pump shotgun" and " the short one not for hunting". See a Turkish pump and say yes that please. No shells ever. In four years I've never seen them buy a round of ammo.

They are worse than muslims for intolerance and have taken over most of northern Idaho. They are a fucking cancer on society.

Why sell it to him? Here we see them. At North 40 or Big 5 or whatever big box store they go, people just ignore them and sell it to them anyway. They are doing it where you live as well.

The no ammo thing is interesting. My guess is they have been told ammo will be provided at the meetings. I've seriously never seen one buy ammo. If they bring the gun back to sell it off in a year or two it's unfired and never even taken out of the box.

It allows them to brag to fellow commies that " they own a gun." As well.
I don't for one minute take for granted how fortunate I am to live in
"Fly over or drive through but don't stop, you won't like it here" country

We are very tolerant and easy going but there is a hard line you don't want to cross. No refunds.

Interesting they never buy ammo.

Cheap assed shotgun makes an expensive club. But you explained the "I own a gun" mentality.

The illness deepens.

Any Cancer Experts?

Ivermectin
Fenbenzodole
Hydroxocholoroquine ?
Methelyne Blue

This^^^^^
I have seen some shorts on youtube by a doctor, but can't findcthem. Some old crusty doctor that is not a coocku.
Fenbendazole
Praziquatil?
Niclosimide
Ivermectin
Medbendazole?
And cut out all sugar. Everyone that tells the truth, knows that sugar is all a cancer feeds on.
They use it to light up cancer cells in a PET scan. They literally use sugar, to find cancer.

3 weeks ago, i took 5 days of ivermectin at full dose for a virus.
Before i got sick my knee was so swollen with arthritis i could barely bend my knee.
I can still bend it a full bend today, only minimal pain. Ain't even taken a tramadol in a couple weeks.
I wouldn't dare tell my doctor. They might put you in the nuthouse.
The only thing that could have done that to my knee is the ivermectin.....unless amoxicillin is now a miracle drug for bursitis and arthritis.

Oh...and this is....bad but...you want the truth.
Two of my uncles died with liver cancer. Hide the guns and get your mind right if it ain't. It is gonna be bad.
Prayers for you and yours.

Pistol Reloading Issue I cant figure out

Is all of your 9MM brass the same head stamp? If not, check the rounds that push in and see if the MFR. headstamp is the same.

I know when I reload mixed 9MM head stamp brass, certain MFG. brass seats softer (less neck tension) than other MFG. brass.

Is your seating depth (COAL) a little too deep for the hornady bullet and you're seating past the taper on the ogive?

You can do a plunk test on seating depth in your new carry 9MM barrel to see if that barrel hits the ogive differently than another MFG. 9MM barrel.

I know some guys use the Lee undersize sizing die. It F/L sizes .003" tighter than regular dies to overcome your issue.

Your issue can be from a number of things that have been pointed out.

Any reason you never see builds on Winchester Actions?

Did you inlet that Manners stock in the bottom photos Sir, or was that done at Manners? Really been wanting a T5A for a while.

Yes, the inletting work was performed here. The only thing we don't do here (when it comes to stock work) is make them. -Composites, anyway, wood is no problem.

I have blank T5A stocks on the shelf. These are "out of the mold" blanks. We handle all the paint/finish work here.

Just to be clear: The agreement I have with Manners stocks is that we never sell one in the unfinished condition. It won't leave here without a coat of paint.

Happy to help.

Pics are of the 2014 SHC trophy rifle we donated. It doesn't seem like 11 years ago. Time goes too quick these days.

Which Heavy Duty Truck?

My wife’s daily driver 2022 6.7 powerstroke had a cp4 failure at 20,000 miles..it wasn’t disastrous but it was a fight to get ford to fix it under warranty..I have a friend at that dealership who told me it was common to deny CP4 warranties for literally any reason so I just picked up a DCR conversion and he did that for me..then we fully deleted it.

The problem is if you wait for it to go you could be $12k-$18k out of pocket fixing it even if it’s still under warranty..those metal shavings will go all through the fuel system.

CP4’s are not trash..but the are made for high sulfur European diesel..we have LOW SULFUR DIESEL in the United States..the lubricity isn’t there for the CP4 gears..now, have put over 400,000 miles on a 6.7 powerstroke with a cp4…but it was fully deleted and I used archoil in every fill up..diesel fuel additives will greatly extended the life of a cp4
No gears in the cp4.

Additive doesn’t seem to make a difference. Some run it religiously and they fail early and some never run it and have no problems for 100s of 1000s of miles. They’re simply a gamble. I saw one the other day that failed with less than 300 miles on it. My dcr has been good so far. But my cp4 had 218k on it. One little wear line on one of the lifter rollers was all you could see. Rest looked great.

Kahles vz ZCO

I am looking at taking that jump into the top tier scope race. I need advise that is not by sponsor paid spokespeople. With the amount of money going into these scopes it is a lot and I really don't want to waste it. I have bought gear that I thought guys were using, then later found out they would never actually use that gear at all and it was just a sponsor paid ad.

Now I really like the Kahles 540i do to the parallax, left windage and the extra field of view. The ZCO 8x40 is the other side I am looking at. I have heard good things about the ZCO but it does not have the same options as the Kahles. I have seen that a lot of PRS shooters are running the ZCO but I am wondering if ZCO is sponsoring shooters and giving a false showing of how many shooters are spending their own money to buy the scopes. F-Class seems to have a lot of shooters running Kahles. There are a few PRS shooters going with Kahles.

I am sorry to ramble here but I hope this helps you understand what I am trying say.

Feel free to give me a call at your earliest convenience and I can go over the Pros and Cons of each scope.

ZCO is the most used scope in PRS and also do not provide actual sponsorship, that is a fact and has been discussed plenty of times recently.

Jeff Huber goes over the "Sponsorship" aspect here which still applies today:

Between all of us here, we are close with both ZCO and Kahles, Jeff of ZCO I do speak with multiple times a week. Other's here speak with their contacts at Swarovski and Kahles.

Again, if you'd like facts then give me a call as I'm not anonymous :)
