You were at the Koon?....if I never see that place again it will be too soon. This was in the late 70's....no idea what its like now. But then, aside from flying the only other thing to do there was drink.

And personally, I love Army and Marines....they defend the airbase perimeter. lol

I thought it was the plywood silhouettes strategically positioned around the perimeter.

Still contemplating a savage 10fp in 308.

The extraction issue is what really plagued the savage platform. I’ve owned several and have seen many with similar issues. But the detent ball swap has fixed almost all of them. A newer 6.5 CM is one that still had issues after the swap
What is the detent ball swap fix? I just put a new bolt head on mine last night and changed all of the springs.

Newsom plans to steal the House

Um, the Republican Party is- famously- the party of Lincoln. The D=Communist and R=Communust light is a rather recent trend. As an example, New England split 3-2 in favor of Bush in ‘88, and had a pretty solid R voting record in presidential elections up to that point. Clinton in ‘92 was where NE went D.

The Democratic party was the party of the south into the 80s. I remember my dad taking about all of the politicians switching from D to R so they could get re-elected. This was late 80s.

And this has what to do with gerrymandering congressional districts? A term literally named for the DEMOCRAT who created the process.

A Republican can win a state wide or national election because the majority of people support them. Winning a seat in congress is a different story.

SOLD Bergara Wilderness take off LA rem 700 stock

Have the factory Bergara Wilderness stock brand new not bedded or fired in

Nothing wrong with it. I just had a mcmillian A5 laying around.

Adjustable cheek and LOP. CIP length bottom metal comes with 1 accurate 3.850 mag.

Was on a 300 PRC.

Will work with any LA 700 pattern action.

I put a 338-06 barreled action in for pics and fitment. Mag lips would just need some tuning if using a. Non magnum cartridge.

250 OBO to your door

Manual dump + trickle

I think most people set their manual throw about 1-1.5gr under the target and let the IP take it from there. 0.3-0.5 seems a little too close to the final target for me, but I haven't tried it. The IP will run fast and then slow down as it reaches the target. I think it helps to let it have a little "run" at it rather than starting right near the final target, but I haven't proven it.

I replaced the thin nut that mounts my RCBS Uniflow to the stand (by necessity because I somehow lost it) with a normal 7/8-14 nut like you'd use on a bolt of that size/thread on a piece of heavy machinery. The nut is about 1 in. thick, and makes it really easy to tighten/remove by hand without a wrench when it comes time to dump the powder back into the jug. Mine is mounted on a swing arm made by Inline Fabrication that attaches to their quick-change press stand. You can swing the powder measure out of the way when not in use. I don't find it to be much of an issue not having it drop directly onto the scale, and probably avoids some of the hassle that could involve.

Ammo bowl on your first weekend for the win.

Yeah, fuck that.

I really did enjoy a lot of the food from A-Town. And the round-eyed girl I shared it with.

Kimchee, some leftover rice and a couple of over medium/easy eggs makes a damn fine meal. Rebecca likes it also.

The alcoholic concoction or the softball tournament? Of course, the second always ended with the first.

What cars you fools have?

That is so straight. Very nice.
It took a little over two years between body work and engine building in my garage. The engine was a collaboration between me a friend at his shop.
A stroked 496 that's 580 HP and 560 ft lbs all in the street usable range under 5K RPM.
It's not perfect but never was meant to be a show car. It's a driver
