This little faggot just wont go away…

Pray U R right
But the left is angry, well funded, and motivated. Right may not come out in numbers for a mid term election, and may be over confident. Thus the libs could take the house

Not that it would matter that much if they did……….

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want them to take the house, but I don't trust the Republicans either, they talk a lot and usually end up doing little to nothing or worse, like keeping a silencer bill from going forward. Oh, they keep us all polarized for sure with all their rhetoric, but it’s just a bunch of hen house strutting and clucking from a bunch of thieves.

This little faggot just wont go away…

The story that originally ran in the papers down here said that he had stayed home from school that day and was riding his bike to school once he heard about the shooting. His interview at the time was pushed by all the national papers as a “student who was there”. He is an opportunist and likely handled from the beginning.
Exactly. Now the MSM always refers to him as a Parkland “survivor”, but he wasn’t there until it was over. His only claim to fame is being a fraud.

Man and his dog killed by bear in Florida.

Yogi/momma bear is to be taken seriously when encountered in the wild.
Damned near walked into a sow and cub several years ago in NM.
Edge of darkness and young eyes in our group caught her shadow of movement in the trees.
Wind swirled and the cub bawled and went up a tree.
Popping teeth and huffing.
All inside of 50-60 yards.
Took a 1/4 mile bypass.

It’s not just the “prestigious” universities. My university is chock full of Chinese nationals. They are professors, students, and department heads. Let’s not even start talking about all of the African continent folks who have taken over the engineering programs. I can literally go down the list of faculty in our engineering programs and not pull out half a dozen names of people who are not foreign born.

New Berger 375 bullet 410 hybrid

Berger suggested the charge weights may have come from QL and may be a bit conservative.
Maybe they use(d) QL to work up a profile before they shot them? I don’t know, just going off a friendly call to them for info and sharing it here. Getting a little hot in here, time for me to go out and shoot.
Possibly. I’ve never known them to actually publish data from QL, but they do use it because Bob ran a theoretical load through it on the phone with me last week. But, he was careful to distinguish it wasn’t their data and was purely theoretical. If they published it (ie sent it out to you), I’d be surprised if they hadn’t shot it, but you could be right. I just know he was very careful to distinguish their data (which he sent me) vs what he told me he got on QL with a different load (which he did not send). This was 300NM data with a 245 LRHT.

Right or left ?

And what about the cool down time that he was talking about?
When the brass drops out of the flame, it cools down VERY fast. It won't stay hot enough long enough to be an issue that affects the hardness, especially at the web area of a case. The rate of cooldown is an exponential curve where it's fastest from the higher temperatures and slower at the lower temperatures. This has something to do with Newton's Law of Cooling. ;)

My brass prep is done in my non-airconditioned garage in the Phoenix AZ area where I've done annealing when it's 105°F in there. Even in that temperature, the brass cools down really fast from the peak temperature I get my brass to. Of course, it cools down even faster in the winter time with the ambient temperature in the 60's.

AAC ammo grenading rifles

I can tell you that I have compared the Black Hills 5.56 77gr loadings to the 77gr 5.56 load that I got from Black Arc. Granted, I didn't shoot too much of either, at approaching $1.50 a round; but the Black Arc did come in at close to 100 fps faster in my 16". 100 fps really isn't much, but considering that the Black Arc shot better and isn't too far off in price, I think the Black Arc is worthy of consideration. Just mentioning it since Black Arc is a contender in the NAS3 game.
I’m sure it’s good stuff. But the person who made that video inserts his black arc code in all videos. Plus I don’t want to be swapping barrel every 1k ish rounds shooting NAS3 stuff. Listen to the interview Paul Craddock did with Frank lowlight about that.

Barrel wear or a manufacturing problem?

We’re going to have to ask you to stop posting facts. It interferes with our theories and SWAGs. 😄

What’s interesting to me is that this thread unintentionally reminded me to address the possibility that my suppressor is involved in an issue I’m having. I may go back to square three and test the variance when using it on a particular rifle.

CHRONOGRAPH USE AND BASIC SAFETY

The results of reloading manifest in multiple ways ... a chronograph gives directional information regarding the anticipated velocity envelope for the cartridge and load specifications. Velocities outside of expected results would indicate a possible (or probable) issue.

It's not just for safety, but a very useful tool in the process to monitor safe loads

Right or left ?

It's not just reaching that the 600°F, but also how much time it's at 600°F. I assume you're talking about Fahrenheit??? 600°F is only ~ 316°C . . . which is not enough to do any level of annealing unless is for a very long time. Annealing (or the "flash annealing" that we do) the brass is best done at 650°C (1,200°F) .
And what about the cool down time that he was talking about?
