Someone murdered Charlie Kirk

We are all just jumping through our asses with speculation based on what tiny bit of video/audio is available.
That includes me because I took it personally that they slaughtered a great Christian that was making a difference on a grand scale.
So I'm as guilty as anybody about speculating on a few things and making baseless wild ass guesses.

That being said, I'm leaning toward thinking that was not an entrance wound in his neck. I'm probably wrong.
I think that is either an exit or a secondary entrance wound from bone ejecting from breast bone or clavicle area. I'm probably wrong.
I still believe the impact was very high chest just left (his left) of the base of the neck. I'm probably wrong.

I've seen projos deviate their track 90 degrees and greater from the direction of entry once inside a body. BTHP and FMJ are particularly squirrely. There is even a documented case of that from a few years ago when an LE sniper made a perfect HR shot and the bullet exited 90 degrees from the direction of entry killing the suspect AND the hostage.

I've also seen bone blown out of a limb or extremity and do massive secondary damage to unprotected soft tissue.

In the scheme of things, it doesn't matter and they may never release those details.

I just hope and pray that they find the actual suspect and do so convincingly so neither you or I have much remaining suspicion. We all need a little shot of confidence in at least part of our system.
I too thought that was the exit wound. And the shot came from left of screen just due to the way he moved and fell when hit. Just my impression.
ETA I never once thought this was a frontal hit until I saw the layout of the AO. If everybody else besides me is right as to the shooter's location then the neck wound would have to the entrance . I based my belief also on how the blood seemed to splatter to the right of screen.

Inheriting a small orchard (need advice)

Depending on where you are in Ohio, you might also be able to lease out to Hunter’s during deer season. Especially if there are woods and Orchards. And if you get the right lease, they will work with food plots pick up trash and certainly keep trespassers off Because they don’t want people poaching their deer that they are leasing the land to hunt. Big money to be made out in Ohio on deer leases in the right area.

I have an orchard here on the farm that someday I would love to restore. It’s all overgrown. I will tell you it’s a lot of work to keep an orchard or a vineyard up so finding someone who might trade maintenance for a free crop or an almost free cropwould not hurt. But remember trees need pruning and cutting back. The bugs have to be kept out. The crops have to be picked. An orchard is a massively labor intensive business.

But if there’s someone in the area making cider or processing fruit or some of the Amish up there who might want to work the land, there is nothing better than Land because they aren’t making any more of it.

Good luck with the project and cheers

GEISSELE MRGG 6.5 CREED WRITE UP AND REVIEW

Did a little more digging and found black hills actually replied to a comment on this video and confirmed it's an aero match projectile.... Not that there is anything wrong with the aero match per se, just had I known this prior to purchasing M1200C I would've gone with factory Berger ammo which is cheaper, runs a Berger bullet and is loaded in Lapua brass.

I agree with you. Black Hills is not alone, they and IMI also use the Hornady Aeromatch bullet instead of genuine Sierra matchking bullets in their 77 grain 223 ammo.

I've never tested the Hornady Aeromatch bullets against whatever they are copying, and maybe it's just psychological, but I feel better having the real thing. Especially for the premium price.

again i'll agree to disagree.

in the new testament, a messiah comes for anyone that believes, but they did not accept jesus as christ (save a small number, initially).
i would agree with you if they weren't still waiting for the "real one".

In the Old Testament, the chosen people were Israelites (later known as Jews), the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God chose them to be a special people, set apart to worship Him, to be the nation through whom the Messiah would come, and to be a light to the nations, though they largely failed in their mission to teach others about God

So, you're saying the OT does not reference Christ?

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."

Dude, I'm trying to be generically informative without getting overly wonky. It's a shooting site not an aviation site. And changing a sqwak to 1200 still provides mode C altitude reporting. Bottom line, there's a completely normal, non-conspiratorial explaination why the transponder MAY have disappeared from flight aware. But a business jet randomly disearing from ATC is going to be noticed. Not exactly a move you make if you're trying to be all spooky

I agree with you. I too am a professional aviator. I just want to ensure the correct information is disseminated.

Fire Control System, Part 1

This video is Part 1 of a 2 Part topic regarding the Fire Control System (FCS) used in the early Gen 2 through Gen 3 V22 action designs. I am the original designer/inventor of these platforms. In Part 1 of the "Fire Control System," I'm covering the basics of bolt assembly disassembly, replacing the cocking piece, bolt assembly re-assembly and proper adjustment of the handoff timing, aka, "Firing Pin Fall."

This video assumes one is using the standard 22-pound force main spring (firing pin spring) and is desiring to tap into all the available energy offered by the higher rate main spring.

Part 2 of the FCS series will cover the Main Spring Kit that includes color-coded main springs from 15-pound force to 22-pound force. Anyone interested in the Main Spring Kit and/or has general questions about other topics can reach out to me at [email protected].

Following the FCS Part 2 video (which should be available within three weeks), I'll cover, in great detail, Feeding and Cycling Issues; how to properly diagnose them and how to set up your rifle without worry of malfunction in a match.

Nepal blew a gasket

I used to work with and be friends with two Nepali brothers. Their old man was a doctor for the WHO and one of their uncles was a former prime minister. Very well educated, hard working guys. I'll try to reach out and see what they have to say and report back. Oh and I still have a Gurkha kukri they gifted me with, actual military one, not the cheap tourist shit. Wicked sharp and heavy.
