Zeiss SFL 12x50 BInoculars

I have an SF 8x42 and a Swarovski EL 8.5x42, but I always bring the 10x50 with me when I go birdwatching. It has the advantages of both the 42 mm and 50 mm formats. Although it doesn't have as good of optics as the SF, it's really near, in my opinion. Next week, I'll work with a couple of birdwatchers I asked for a reportage. In the field, we'll see what people think.
My go to general purpose binocular for a couple of years now has been the 10x50 Razor UHD. This new 12x50 SFL has almost as wide of FOV. It is harder to handhold steadily, but given how much I glass off of the tripod, it might be worth giving it a shot, especially when out looking for pronghorn.

This year, my go to has been the 10x42 Geovid. Since I will be hunting with other people this year, I might bring both. We'll have enough people.

Accuracy International Picture Thread

I'm picking up a 15 model PB AT this weekend and I'm wanting to add the NV bridge, but I'm wanting to make sure I can run the bridge with a 16.5" barrel and suppressor. Also, from my reading I'm seeing I need the high rail in order to line up with the nv rail, is that correct? The one I'm buying has the low rail installed. Obligatory pic of my hopefully new to me AT.

What is it Worth? Older Leupold Mark 4 10x

NOT SELLING, JUST CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT THEY RUN THESE DAYS.

I have a ca. 2000 Leupold Mark 4, 10x with M3 dial (168gr only), that came with an old first gen FN SPR that I bought about a decade ago. The glass is as good as Leupold made back then, no scratches or issues. Honestly, the scope is in 95%+ condition. The only real drawback is that the elevation dial is mushy AF...but it is repeatable...I've killed 9 deer through this scope and each time the dial matched a dead animal.

I know that these have become a tad more desirable to collectors. I have a better one on my M24 (and maybe I should have posted this in the "vintage" sub-forum). I'm at a personal crossroads of either using this on an M14 build several years down the road, or moving it. The biggest downside is that if I decide that I need one again I don't want to be out $$$.

I can't find squat on the internet right now - other than a single Gunjoker listing for $2,100 (and I'm thinking that guy is smoking something).

Anybody have a clue on what the going rate is for these now?

some people with kids, make it a point, NOT to have the whole family together when traveling to mitigate the risks.
Others, rather have the whole family together when traveling, because only god knows.
Rather strange to have the rotor AND tail section come off.

"Agustín Escobar and Mercè Camprubí Montal died on Thursday in the accident off New York City along with their three children and the pilot."
“They are a well-known family,” Salvador Illa, the governor of Barcelona, said in a telephone interview. “He was an executive at a large international company, and also she belonged to a well-known family. Two members of her family were presidents of the Barcelona Football Club.

The helicopter was touring New York City when it tumbled out of the sky and crashed into the Hudson River.

Two of the passengers were alive when divers pulled them from the frigid water, but they later died, New York City’s police commissioner, Jessica S. Tisch, said at a news conference.

"Mr. Escobar led Siemens’ rail infrastructure division from the company’s Berlin office, the company said. Before assuming his current role in October, Mr. Escobar was the chief executive of Siemens Spain. "

Ms. Camprubí was an executive with Siemens Energy, a separate company, according to her LinkedIn profile. Siemens Energy has not commented publicly on her death.

Rotor probably took out the tail when it came off.
This guy probably is guilty of disagreeing with the whole globalist/satanic agenda of the evil cabal

AB Quantum Major Update 3.3 + Calypso AB Mini

I got everything synced but when I turn off aerodynamic jump on the app the Fire 4000 still gives a solution with it.

How do I sync the aerodynamic jump settings? I'm getting a different solution on the app versus the Fire 4000.

Settings for the App do not translate into settings for the Devices. You would have to turn that off on the device.

New Applied Ballistics® Quantum™ APP! - & It's Free!

A calypso-like us wind sensor glued upon a 5700 will do the trick. Upgrading from the impeller without changing the MMI ( it's not the best in the world, but as @_Windrider_ and @6.5SH said is durable and dependable, is what I would like to see.
You can just pair a Calypso to a Kestrel now if that is what you want, but the Kestrel cannot pair to a device and a phone you have to put it in one mode or the other.

Horse Power, Track Shit, Torque, Cubic Inches, Liters, Run What Ya Brung, Auto or Cycle

Ah...good catch!
A little embarrassing 😎.....but glad it got caught by you in advance. 😊 I told you I was a little out of shape for this.
I never thought twice about it as its not a high rise. I'll do some quick measuring before wee load it today, and check the options on their website.
Thanx DY, that could have ended badly.
Measuring probably won't work. You won't really know until it's in the car and the hood is on. I usually put the air cleaner on and make a tube out of aluminum foil and place it on the top of the air cleaner. Close the hood really slow and you can hear the foil crinkle. Open to see how much more you can close and compare to what you need to finish closing.
My Monte and my Olds have about a quarter inch with the hood closed using the dropped air cleaner base. Both motors have the air gap intake.

2A ALERT for COLORADO: CO AWB at Gov's desk. THIRTEEN new antigun bills to be watched. Update on post 106 pg 3..

I'll stay and fight for now. The back up property in AR will start getting developed tho.
I have a freind that moved down by Russellville in the early 2000s when they really started drying out the plains. I coukd really get used to the hunting and fishing. Last a I knew it was less than 50 dollars for a hunting license. That's to hunt everything. He said the elk they introduced had done well and he was allowed to take 1 per year on his property. They moved now. I don't know if they still own that property. It was warm with lot of lakes and everyone has their own pond. Some of them were bigger than what we call lakes down here. It was really beautiful place. Not like that frozen wasteland Wyoming. 🤣🤣🤣

Thou shall not take the king's fish(bluefin)

The snapper regulations are stupid as hell. Well, for the average angler. They have to be of a certain size and you can only keep during a very, very short season. The limitations on commercial fishing aren't half as bad and they pretty much get to keep anything.

Caught this one about 16 hours too early to give him a ride to shore.

This was the smallest red we caught that day.

Now, let's talk about how much waste/loss is created by the shrimp boats...

See my post above.
They don't want us to keep any fish.

Thou shall not take the king's fish(bluefin)

Same around here for striped bass. One fish between 28-30 inches. So if you want to cull one you have to go through God knows how many to get the slot fish.

Meanwhile...there is about a 30% mortality on all those overslot fish.
The best option is take 1 any size, when the slot is impossible.
They don't set the slots arbitrarily. They get paid good money to do exhaustive surveys, to determine the "slot"
"They" do not want you eating fish.
Unless it is imported.
