So an update .
Orthopede says aw yeah you're released , good to go . Hand Surgeon says August 25 . Sweet except . I wake up 4-5 times a night in fuggin agony . Last visit with Orthopede I mention again " hey my shoulders is jacked in pain " . Ortho says let's look . Pulls up cat scan and oh , OH !! Let's get an x-ray. Yeah fractured shoulder , maybe torn Labram. .
So from the 1st night to this point I'm bitchin about pain in my shoulder ." Well we're just goin with the big breaks and amputation".
I asked multiple times about my hand as it was smacking guardrail posts same as my forearm . "We don't think they're fractured" .
So I will qualify . I have a 17 and a half inch stack of MRIs and XRAYs from 30 yrs of combative Martial Arts . Every Rank , Belt ,Glove Coloure, ranking etc all from fighting . No forms . No points .
Ok Phillipino Fighting Sticks . Sorry one time . I'm not gay . Well maybe a little bit I digress . They showed me on screen X-rays and MRIs and gues what ? Those fuckin lines in my fingers are fractures . Ok . Fractures are not closed distal or separations they'll heal . The shoulder ? Da Fuck .

Mentioned it to OT and "Oh yeah that's great for this " . Why the fuck am I doin this on my own .

You just going to use it for range fun? You can get something like the HuxWrx Flow Range 36. It’s shorter and lighter and can use up to a 9mm or a .338. Will also be less than your price range with the tax stamp.

I have used it on .223 up to .30 on rifles and it works great. It’s a low back pressure can so you can toss it on an AR too. It’s a pretty versatile first can.

I have an EO Tech, Vortex micro, and the original Aimpoint 3x full size grenade looking thing, and I use the ol' big heavy aimpoint on my favorite 556 - eyebox, clarity. The 3X's are otay by comparison but the old school AImpoint biggun is great glass.
