Airguns Beating Rimfires

The Karma Red Panda, FX Impact, Evol and Brocock Sonoran are phenominal guns and will outshoot rimfires regularly. What's the point of buying a custom rimfire and spending $3-4000 and maybe, maybe it will shoot provided you test hundreds of dollars worth of ammo to find the right lot number.

I’m familiar with JIT findings so some video/audio from SBU really does nothing for me nor for your credibility regarding statement who shot airliner. It has been proven and dissected to the bone that location, lone launcher and photo/video evidence was faked by Ukraine. Now so many years later and so many lies more its all the more clear that just like Markale market, Saddams gas, Syrian gas, Kuwaiti children and many more also the unfortunate people of MH17 were victims of basically their own government.

Oiy….my very old and very used Warn ATV winch has gotten to where it is noisy like it has a bad bearing and every so often it feels like the planetary gear slips.

So HF had a sale on their 2500lb remote control ATV winch for $59. I got one to swap it out. Little did I know that there isn’t ANY uniformity in small winch patterns or roller fairlead patterns either.

Much foul language, sweat, one broken Snapon aircraft bit (18” and probably $20 😠) and 2 sincere prayers later…..

*Note* the steel on Polaris winch mount plates is hardened by elves in Middle Earth and could stop blacktip….

Anyway, the ole 2001 Sportsman has recovery capabilities again and I need therapy and possibly some alcohol.

Remote control winches are the cat’s azz.

It's called Bone Valley Range.
Initially, it'll have a 500yd range and a bunch of pistol bays that will allow run and gun stuff.

I'll be out there working tomorrow.

If you shoot clays, Polk Sporting Clays has been up and ruining since January.

I live in Brandon and shot at JTAC before they closed. I use Mannate Gun Club for the 1000. If you do get the mile I’ll be joining as soon as possible. Can’t wait to hear more as I have heard rumors from others in the business.

This might make for an interesting discussion... I want to talk about minor league hockey jersey's and their prices.

It was like that for the Tulsa Oilers (ECHL) hockey team. $300 for an "authentic" jersey last year at a game I went to. I didn't even go to the souvenir shop to look at them, I just heard the announcer claiming the "great deal" with the word "only" right before the $300 price tag.

Somebody did an analysis and determined that if jersey sales are only 60% of potential, but at double the price... then they are money ahead.

Maybe the S3 line does this, never looked through one. But they are sorta dancing on a razor…

The writing was on the wall a few months ago when Zeiss announced they were ending all production of sports optics (binoculars, spotting scopes, rifle scopes) at their Wetzlar, Germany facility in 2026. They're certainly going to leverage the Zeiss name and "German Optics Engineering Excellence" tradition and reputation going forward... But on sports optics products they no longer manufacture in Germany.

They never disclosed the reason for closing the Wetzlar facility, but I'm guessing market share and profit margin played a significant part in the decision.

Kind of sad after 150ish years of history and manufacturing in Wetzlar.

“ The Rush” is the local hockey team in Rapid City. Not a contender this last season at all. BUT they auctioned off players jerseys a few times over the season and they went for anywhere between 900.00 and 3,000 per jersey. Charity event I know, but one dude was high bidder for 3 of them at one auction.
