Guessing that whoever came up with the drill had LE and personal defense in mind, a typical IPSC/USPSA comp holster might unfairly remove a quarter second or so. Likewise a comp pistol with a brake and light trigger would have maybe a second to a second and a half advantage versus a typical carry or duty pistol.

The reload is on the move so it really doesn't carry a time penalty by doing so inside the 10 second hack.

Will be something different to try next time out. We will run it with a Level 2 retention holsters and G17s to see how bad we suck.

I have subjected 4 samples to some fairly severe use on various big calibres ...and not on issue thus far.. When you factor in the cost, it would be very hard to criticise..

I had an XLR Element chassis and switched to McMillan A6-7. I prefer the recoil deadening that the stock provides.

I would think anyone, in any scenario that has suffered life long debilitating injuries or disfigurement should seek counsel. Not an ambulance chaser, not the guys that advertise on TV in the middle of the night, a well known reputable counselor or firm. Even if insurance is not involved. In cases of insufficient insurance coverage, an excess judgement can be attained and assets of the defendant attached or seized and sold to satisfy the judgement.
