Precision Rifle Gear Accutac WB-4 vs Atlas bt10 for prone shooting

I have owned Harris and Accutac.

I chose Accutac based on the YouTube review of @The4GunGuy.

To be able to use the Accutac Sled Feet, I just switched from the SR5 to the WB5.

For me, not only is the WB5 sturdier, especially with the Sled Feet, but it seems to fit a great middle ground height-wise being nearly as tall as my SR5 fully extended but also nearly as short as my BR4 fully collapsed.

If I could only have one bipod forever, it would be the WB5 with Sled Feet.

I hope that helps.

ill check it out. just subscribed to his channel too. Im assuming the video youre talking about is the one where he compares accutac, mdt, and atlas?

Ukraine war Bullshit.

This is what's known in NAFOland as a "tactical retreat" - it allows Ukrainian forces to fight in more advantageous positions on the front lines.

Right @nkk @SNB?

It's not a tactical retreat. It's "Advancing to the rear".

The Ukrainians are "Advancing to the rear", while the Russians are retreating forward.

Emotional roller coaster: 6 powder droppers in < 3 years!

H1000 overthrows like a banshee for me

But it’s no match for H50BMG or n570. >25% overages completely unacceptable
With N570 I run the shims and tip with good luck. I usually leave the sliders in the middle but sometimes I bump them up and can run faster.

The emptying is kind of a learning curve but I rarely spill powder any more.

Fire Forming Remington .308 Winchester

Well I have an idea that maybe someone has done but I have not seen it done and maybe it can not be done. As you well know hornady makes what they call a hydro forming die. They take 308 cases and make 243 case our of them. How about this. Has any taken a form fired piece of 308 Winchester brass and had its profile laser scanned and then use that machine data to precision cut a chamber into one of these hydro forming dies tell the machinist you want the shoulder set back .001 from what these laser measurements are. To me this would be a perfect fit for the associated weapon it was form fired in. This would prevent from have to expel primers, bullet and powder to get brass to fit your gun perfectly. To me form fired brass means the brass has expanded in all direction to fit the profile of the chamber and has slightly relaxed to ensure extraction. They fit doesn't get any better than that. Please advise.

ELR/PRS Sight in

MPBR is an absolute waste of time and energy for an ELR or PRS rifle.
I really don't think he's asking as a PRS or ELR shooter. Seems to be just a curious dude wanting to know what we do, likely a hunter. I was trying to point him the direction of learning something that may apply to him.

If a guy chooses to take their PRS rifle hunting thereafter, then calculating your MPBR and dialing from 100yrd zero to that particular “MPBR zero distance” is just a matter of a few clicks, and then you can hunt as if your rifle had an MPBR zero. But for matches, the zero boards are 100, so use 100 for match rifles.
This was actually my exact point.
Doesn't have to be a match rig, my hunting rifles all have scopes with turrets.
Anything I might shoot critters with is also zeroed at 100 then I figure out MPBR and dial it in the morning, if I'm gonna shoot farther I can adjust then.
