Night Vision Burris BTS50 Eyepiece Falling Off

Not sure if any of you need one of these but I thought I would post it since I just got done making it.

I was having issues with the eyepiece falling off of my thermal. Made a small ring to go around the edge and put pressure on the eyepiece to hold it in place.

Need Garmin 901 help

I don't. I just get velocities and enter them into the gun profiles in the Garmin connect app and then upload to the 901. I like that better because the gun profile is always current and I don't have to worry about a different velocity stored on the 901 that isn't in the app profile.

These were round 21-57 on the barrel. 31.0 gr should go up to 2,825 by 150-200 rds. All grouped <0.5 for 6 shot groups. I'll probably try 31.5 next time but as of now i think 31.0 will work.

Nx8 2.5-20 vs mk 5 3.6-18?

I have NX8s on many platforms. Size, weight, quality, resale value. May not have illum on the MK5 depending on model. Bonus of MK5 is center dot in some of the reticles for a little more focused shooting and may weigh less (oz are lbs) if backcountry hunting. If you're back east and everything is going to be inside 300m you could definitely come down in magnification. Here in the west, many hunting with 5-25s or better. Longer shots happen.
