To clarify my situation: I selected my IOL lenses for distance vision. I definitely did NOT want one lens for distance and one for close-up. I was still competing in NSSA skeet at the time and I definitely wanted my depth perception intact.

I've had good luck with Ramshot Grand, velocities up there with RL-26, temp stable and available. Staball HD was ok, but didn't really live up to the billing for me, unlike Grand.

I am also experimenting with meshtastic (on a modified lilygo t-echo device) + ATAK and for messaging it works great. However I went a way to integrate it also with samsung phone. I was also thinking about adding additional module for 2,4/5GHz mesh networks to achieve the transfer of photos and voice and eventually be able to receive video stream from drone. Are you able to share what hardware and software you used for 5ghz mesh network (apart from mikrotik module)? (equivalent of meshtastic that will create the mesh network forwarding through hops and working with multicast in ATAK)

I'm also thinking about adding some kind of SDR device to be able to receive everything Bidirectional SDR would be the best, but it would make the project much more difficult and expensive and I haven't found reasonably priced and high power SDR's.

I'm able to share the previous hardware for your application, you can send me a message. But I cannot share hardware details on the upcoming high bandwidth IP Mesh MANET and Radio Module. I won't be going with the Mikrotik module due to inefficient waveform.

High end, military grade SDR modules run an additional ~$800. Which price out folks looking for an affordable option. I'm brainstorming an attachable micro external option that can possibly input SDR capability into the mesh. It'll have to be later down the roadmap. Just know off the shelf SDRs primarily have low transmit power 10db.

I'll have my IP mesh MANET version wrapped up quickly. I pushed the release date to June 2025 due to the promise of fulfilling prior commitments.

The new release for meshtastic plugin for ATAK now has voice capabilities with their codec 2 development.

I didn't weigh it with the Bushnell, but with the Gen III Razor and loaded mag it's 15.6 lbs.
