If you buy beef by the percentage of how much cow it encompasses, I have some questions...

I have a 5 cu. ft. chest freezer. It easily holds half a 800 lb. cow once cut and wrapped. If you buy a whole cow/whole beef you may be able to have it dry aged. This improves the flavor, makes it more tender, and costs about $10/lb. hanging weight.

The ranch sent the carcass to the butcher. The butcher offered vacuum packing or double paper wrapped. The double wrapped seemed to work just as well as the vacuum packed. We have many options, see the image.

I will never go back to store bought beef.

Trigger options..... bix n andy triggertech diamond or timney hit

I swapped the TT Diamond 1stage (6oz) to a BnA 2 stage for my early gen RimX because I was getting ignition issue (soft strikes about 5% of the time) due to the the sear height. It's somewhat of a known issue that can be resolved by filing down the cocking piece.
They certainly have a bit more overtravel post break and for a 22 it did affect my shooting negatively slightly initially, also I think I'll need the wider gator shoe. It did resolve the soft strikes, haven't had one in 1000+ rounds.

Still not 100% sold on it, might pull it to put on a hunting gun where it would make more sense

BIFL rifle - 3 options

All great rifles but I would grab the LMT so I could easily swap out the barrel and bolt to 6ARC or 6.5 Grendel. If it's purely for 5.56 I think the KAC is the more elegant solution. On a seperate note A Geissele would be a great option also and for me a G 6mm Arc 14.5 would be tits. Plus You can always add a 5.56 super duty upper later.

Well... I didn't. ;)

I've had the random check before. Never did anyone ever get wanded. Run the dog through my truck all you want, gun is on ne.

I share your frustration. I just ignore the B.S.
There was a Major with a CCW that forgot to secure his pistol when coming onto post at Fort Leavenworth. At the gate he realized that he forgot he had his pistol on him and without being asked he apologized to the gate guard and said that he has a CCW and asked if he could put the pistol away. He was detained and was quickly removed from the military. For him, honesty didn't pay.

Active Shooter at Fort Stewart

Crazy thing is the people at the top, and E7 down, are all on board with common sense. It's the bottom officer ranks that act like middle management and do absolutely nothing productive unless it's covering their ass.
You say that but I have met my share of retards that are enlisted and officers. Being a moron and/or risk adverse is not just an officer thing.

The ones that could authorize CC are not bottom ranks, they are your COL and above levels that have political aspirations. Just my opinion aka .02

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

I wouldn't recommend pulling the sear. Its is a little more complicated than some would be comfortable with. Also, it isn't very hard to damage the receiver getting the pins out and back in.
Yes agree...
The pins are a VERY tight fit and you need to make a "pilot" pin to extract the main. You also need to make a guide to re insert the pin so you do not damage the receiver on re install of the pins. The domed head on the pins allows a normal pin punch to "slip" and damage the receiver.
