Not sure I would say cheap, but we have both the original 6677 .308 AT-X mag and the newer optimized 29896BL 6.5 Creed one with the ramp on the follower. We have tons of both.



I don't ever really see used mags. I will ask the gun broker guy.

The video, as best I can recall (being several years ago), was from an unusual angle and looking at the eternal construction, like one I hadn't seen for an AMP before. I don't recall why the person did that. . . maybe to see how the machine was put together???? The glowing red stuck in my mind because I was kind of shocked about the intensity of the glow when it seemed everyone was preaching lower temperatures, like 650°F where you just don't see that at that temperature. Since then, I've also seen personal custom made induction annealers that also showed the neck glowing to get the amount of annealing they're after.

Well, they wanted to look like they were a gang banger, so why not give 'em the gang banger treatment. "Experts" is becoming such a loose term. I suppose I can declare myself an expert at whatever I choose, and as long as I can somehow manage to market myself successfully as such, then I can be declared an expert in that field. Just because they're an expert, doesn't mean they can't be completely full of shit.

I'm wanting to buy a rifle that I'd have to do as little as possible to, unlike all my other builds. Thinking of a .223 roughtech super varmint. But eventually when I rebarrel it it will be a much thicker barrel, and i really like the stock and have no desire to change it. All I'd need to do is rebarrel it and widen out the barrel channel. But a lot of factory stocks dont leave much left in the forearm for doing that, because people just cant carry rifles that weight over 4lbs these days for some reason lol.
This would be a rifle I could just buy and shoot till rebarrel time and not do much else to it.

I've been fishing for giant blues, and the vast majority of people would not like it either cooked or raw. Think an oily, fishy blue fish or rainbow runner (bait fish IMO) and double it. As far as I know the Japanese are the only ones who eat giant blues.

For comparison when fishing for them you can use Ziki rigs to catch striped maceral and herring to use as live bait, and I'd say a good 30% of the time you would get bite offs because, off Cape Cod anyway, it is so shark infested. When you boat a giant blue you generally tail rope them and drag them in reverse for 20-30 minutes, with the fish bleeding in the water the whole time, to reduce the cortisols and give you a better test at the sales dock. Once you've drug them long enough they slash the gills with a big knife to kill the fish by exsanguinating it (also gives a better test). There are buckets of blood in the water the whole time, and even the sharks won't touch it. One explanation is that the blues swim so fast the sharks can't catch them so they're unfamiliar with the taste, but it may be because it's one of the nastiest and fishiest fish in the sea. By the captain's, whom I fish with, telling it's not good raw, and not good cooked, and not good for anything but selling to Japan.

That said, maybe you can deep fry it like a carp and it's edible.

Plus the author was talking about the ten companies they had pre 2020 (corona). The corona ruined a lot of companys ammo/component lines permanently. For example when buying old obsolete calibers at targetsportsusa.com, they always had stock of the weird obsolete stuff. Now, 2 years later theyre still not even halfway there to seeing the old selection. Seems those are dead permanently.
