Ingenuity Powder System

Have had the power meter now for a bit an really like it. I did get in on the pre order but I am surely way at the bottom.
I never got to see the thread that went off the rails but I am sure it was interesting to say the least. Was reading through
this one and was wondering if anyone ever figured out if the IP will have to draft door as seen in the pics when this thread
started??? I can have a cross wind at times and I am sure that would be helpful..

Out of the box problems with my ZCO 527

I bought a new ZCO 527 with a 3X reticle and a new Spuhr mount (SP-6602)...

A few years ago there were reports of ZCO issues with Spuhr mounts, but I think in all cases the parallax was affected.

And if I recall correctly, there have been some defective Spuhr mounts but I don't know if they overlapped in time.

Dmr/ precision ar type trigger

Looks like most of the advice is leaning one of the Geissele or the Triggertech Diamond. Biggest difference I see is that the Geissele's have a heavier 1st stage with lighter second, and the Triggertech is the other way.

I'm not quite ready to buy yet. Doing my research like I do with most things (I have become like my dad). Currently in middle of saving for a RRS tripod.

I had a Geissele SSA-E and SD-E for a while got used to shooting them. Really liked that I could get on the trigger in my hunting AR and hold if necessary. Then decided to pick up a TriggerTech Competitive to give it a try. It was definitely a crisp trigger but I didn't care for the(IMO) non existent first stage of the trigger. To me it was single stage trigger, the complete opposite of the Geissele. I got better with it after a few hundred rounds and couldn't see a differnce in shooting results when using the same upper with different lowers. Had a buddy that really liked it so I sent it down the road and just stick with Geissele.

Out of the box problems with my ZCO 527

I have had a good number of ZCO scopes pass through my hands over the years. I have never seen anything resembling a systemic problem with the 5-27x ZCO. Everyone makes a lemon once in a while, so I would not draw too many conclusions out of it.

They'll fix it. For what it is worth, I have seen far more problems with Spuhr mounts than with ZCO scopes.

As far as the other shooter with the same problem goes... it is statistically unlikely, but there could be a bad batch for some reason. I'd be very surprised, but it is possible. It is possible he had the same problem. It is even more possible that he was attributed a bad day to the scope. That happens quite a bit.

The issues with your scope look to be carefully observed, so there is a good chance there are issue with it.

NICS checks out in free states

I am not saying anything. I’m asking. @sgtsmmiii brought that up. I don’t know.

Of course I mean my CWFL. Which is a seven year renewal. I renewed mine last year and it expires in 2031. Ive got it setting right here in front of me.

You better check yours.

I was wrong though when I said it has both date of issue and date of expiration on it. Unlike your DL, it only has the date of expiration on it.
odd. both of mine from last year go til '32. doesn't matter. if i am functional then, will renew. if not,well....
