I was very mad I missed out on the SPR barrels on Geissele's website. @Bigjake83 did some cool stuff with them.

So I called White Oak and Marylee did right by me.

Geissel cut rifle barrel blank
18" SPR profile with half fluting spun by White Oak Armorment. 1-8 tw and mid gas.



Barrel is beautiful. The workmanship is amazing. I was worried about white oak under new ownership but this looks amazing.

I used a Thouroghbred upper, Mk4 rail, and superlative gas block.


Optic is Leupold 3-18 in a badger mount
Lower is a m4e1 with a curved TT diamond and JP captured buffer. Fab defense stock and kungfu grip.





White oak believes that break in should be enough rounds to zero , or about 25 rounds, a good cleaning, and done.

I really planned to do that, but it was going so well I kind of lost track.

Looking for Peterson 284 brass

Hi: I’m going to be working on 2 VTAC barricades for local PRS and Gas Gun competitions this weekend. The typical cutouts on the VTAC barricade don’t lend themselves well to long distance matches. I’m considering just using squares and circles for cutouts, maybe 10”x10” or 12”x12”. Not sure about the bottom yet. Any input would be appreciated.

I have a short action tan MPA BA Comp chassis for sale. It is in very good shape but has been used some. It comes with a lot of extras like the MPA side rails $129, a set of Gray Ops side weights $120, BA Comp internal forend weights $120. The chassis was bedded for a Rem 700 action so should fit 700 footprint actions. Might need to modify the recoil lug area but with the price it would be worth doing a little dremel work. $369 in extras so at $750 the chassis would be only $381

I’m looking to either have built or purchase a top-notch AR 15 in 22 arc with either a 16 or 18 inch proof, carbon fiber barrel. I will be adding a suppressor and will be using this mainly as a coyote rifle. I am out in Colorado and the longest I’ll be shooting is probably under 500 yards. The Alex pro elite LTR is the only AR that I have found that fits the bill. I would appreciate any recommendations on either complete uppers or full out builds. Thanks.

Zero tech popped up and I was browsing their site for the mythical MPVO scope everyone wants.

Didn't see the MPVO of my dreams but I did see an interesting crossover scope:


It's relatively light(23 oz), the reticle looks like it may work at 4x, and FOV seems to be typical for the mag range.

Any experience with this scope or the brand?

New never used surefire socom muzzle brake for Kac sr-25 it has the 3/4X24 thread pitch made for knights armament sr-25. I am asking 450 includes fully insured shipping, those that maybe interested know these have became very hard to find. Paypal ff accepted

I recently acquired a batch of fired brass (unknown how many times fired), inspected it and went to the annealing step.

Within 2 seconds under the flame, the top gives out a florescent green color on it. This happened to almost 90% brass from the batch. I have inspected for any visual markings and it seems to be fine. The brass is Peterson 284. Would anyone know anything about this bright green color? It goes directly to this color, without passing any red or orange.
I'll try to capture a pic the next time my annealing machine is out.
