Hill People Gear bino carrier?

Looking for some feedback. I’m looking for a better way to carry RF binos for field matches and hunting (better than the cheap vortex rig). I’d really like to have more storage capacity than what’s is offered by most bino rigs. The Hill People Gear recon or heavy recon with their bino pouch seems like it would be everything I’m looking for. What I’m wondering is, how far off the chest does it push out? I’m concerned it might end up being too bulky. If anyone is running this setup, I’d appreciate your thoughts and experience on how it works for you.

SOLD Outdoor Research Helium Bivy

Outdoor Research Helium Bivy - Red - NWOT. Bought this new, stored in storage box in closet. No rips, tears, stains etc (has NOT been used). $90.00 TYD USPS Priority. PayPal friends and family w/ no note or add 4% for fees.View attachment IMG_5532.jpeg

Gunsmithing Muzzle brake ruins muzzle crown

I'll try to make this short. I added a clamp-on muzzle brake to my RRA heavy bbl varmint gun. Before muzzle brake, rifle shot consistent 1/2 MOA groups. I noticed a gradual reduction in accuracy over the next 500 rounds to where I thought my bbl was wearing out. Bbl cleanliness good through life of bbl. Total 1500 rounds through 223 Wylde bbl. Bore scope indicated nothing wrong with lands and grooves to indicate wear using the Teslong 45 degree mirror (90 degree view angle). However, when the Teslong passed through the crown, I noticed a fuzziness at the crown. I changed to the 25 degree mirror on the Teslong, As I approached the crown, I could see very deep channels leading to the crown. Those channels were not visible with the 90 view. My bbl had a recessed crown. The brake fit tightly and squarely to the muzzle. I have come to the conclusion that the addition of the brake was causing gas-cutting on the crown. I pulled the brake off and re-crowned the muzzle with a target crown. The gun is now back to shooting 1/2 MOA. I highly recommend anyone using a clamp-on muzzle brake examine your crown with a borescope using an angle other than 90 degree view. Sorry, no pics.

KRG Whiskey 3 Chassis-Let's See Them

I recently got my KRG Whiskey 3 chassis. I absolutely love it!! I recieved mine 2 weeks before a competition and did fairly well at the comp with it (really well for me).

I was instantly comfortable with my chassis, even though I said I would NEVER get a chassis, because I just didn't like anything on the market. I handled one of the Magpul Dynamics guys at a competition one day and thought, hell that isn't that bad.

I am just curious to see who and how many people out there are running these bad ass chassis's on their rifles. Here are some pics of mine.

On the subject of companies screwing over Americans....

Yup. dominating a huge prepaid market by tailoring their companies help (and prey on) illegals.

Advertising, setting up stores at illegal crossing points, all kinds of great marketing to specifically get rich(er) off of illegals.

Now, do the executives who orchestrated this strategy get to go to jail?

Wonder how much $$ they got from USAID as well for those free phones given to Migrants. And Obamaphones... how much did executives give to democrat campaigns? NGO's who helped bring in illegals? Knowing that their first stop with the money they didn't hand over to the Coyotes... is going right to a prepaid phone.

How hard are they fighting against the current enforcement efforts? How much money are they giving to get people elected who will open the floodgates again?

Anyone asking these questions? Because this is why we are supposed to have a media. Or a Senate. Or a House. Or an FCC. Methinks T-Mobile should have its spectrum yanked and re-auctioned to a company that does not get rich promoting illegal border crossings.

I’ve got a whole laundry list of concerns and am requesting y’all’s thoughts and prayers

My Brenda had a very bad report from the eye doctor yesterday. If it can affect your eyes, she has the beginning stages of all of it and all it requires treatment.

My Old Friend, Jimmie Martin, turns very old today. He had a stroke several years ago, and while not bed ridden, he is still hurting. Today is his birthday

My other old friend Charlie B. Is in the hospital, they don’t know what’s wrong, and that scares the crap out of me. More people I know have died because the doctors could not figure out what was wrong, including my father

One happy thought, this old girl pictured below is 31 years old today. This is the day she was finished and we moved in. Our little cottage on Caney Creek Lake. My friend, Jimmie was a huge help to us moving.
