Well now we know - 53 is the number

If you taz someone 53times their heart will stop .

These Oklahoma deputies did just that tazed a man 53 times while he lay on the ground and begged for his life - His crime - running down the road .

I knew they loved electro torture - but they even crossed the streams - using up to 3 tazers simultaneously while he begged for his life . Until his heart stopped
And then applied a choke hold just to make sure .

He was fairly young healthy guy so the numbers may vary for old ladies and kids but at least now they have a control number of 53to work with .

6 Creedmoor Berger 105 hybrid help

Wanted to get some help from you guys. Shot these last night, started out wanting to find max for my setup (that's why I jammed .010). After shooting the first 3 I changed a few things up. I only have tonight to load ammo, I'm leaving tomorrow for our property that has 300 yard range and would like to try and get as much info as I can to narrow down a good load. Should I shoot a couple of ladder tests? If so what powder range should I start and end at? Should I use the chronograph (magnaspeed)? By the way I have not found pressure signs yet. Thanks. These were shot at 100 Yards. I have a brother in law competition every Thanksgiving at 500 yards for smallest 5 shot group. I know a lot of you don't do that but a plastic crown is at stake and I hate loosing it to them!

One Piece Scope Mounts ..What do you use?

After some feedback on what people are using . Mounts has to have at least 20moa of cant available . Fixed or QD doesn't matter.

In all the years i have been using Sphur , primarily.... I also have Era -Tac and they have been fantastic but here in Aus obtaining them is very very difficult..

Any input and recommendations appreciated..

Mike’s Stocks barrels?

I’m aware of the usual recommendations when it comes to quality 10/22 barrels, but I really don’t want to spend $425+ on a barrel.

I was gifted a 10/22 takedown and I want to make a decent backpack gun out of it. It’s got a nice trigger and a Boyd’s thumbhole stock, but I have a Magpul Hunter for it now. The stock is odg, and I’m going for either the black on odg or fde on odg aesthetic.

I want to get a threaded 16” bull barrel and a lightweight scope for it. I found Mikes Stocks on eBay. He sells blued fluted takedown barrels for $225ish.

Does anyone have experience with his barrels? I don’t need world class accuracy, but reliability is a big factor.

Thanks for any input!

Suppressor Issue

Here's the problem: custom built M700, with a 24" Shilen 1-10 , reamer a .308-M852. Rifle is a tack driver with all factory Match ammo/sub 1/2 MOA. When I put my Banish suppressor on, either a 7" or 9" .308, I can't get the bolt open with ANY factory Match ammo (the same factory ammo that shot fine W/OUT the suppressor), or my hand loads. Take the suppressor off, no problem....suppressor on...PROBLEM! Silencer Central and Banish had NO answer for the problem.
