Anyone happen to know the typical thickness for a M-LOK rail?

The only source I could find online said 1/8 inch thick, or about 4mm in the description.

That seems a little thicker than I would have expected. Generally they appear to be around 3mm from what I've seen.

Unfortunately I don't have a specimen handy and the M-LOK specifications don't seem to specify the thickness anywhere.

If anyone could put their calipers on one and check I would much appreciate it.

Looking to trade my Gen1 Cronus BTR with APRS mil reticle for a Tract Toric 4-25x50 mil elr.

I'm building my first AR-15 (JP, 18") and would greatly appreciate some optics recommendations. I'm planning on shooting mostly bench (some prone) at 25, 100, and 300yds. Budget is max $1200 (unless you make a convincing enough case).

Right now it seems like my options for this setup are either a 1-6 or 1-8 LPVO, or something like a 2-10 possibly with an offset RD. I'd love to hear any advice for this!
