Duno if I want to pick up a CZ 457 or just put real glass on this. For the little amount of money I have invested in this thing I’m pretty happy with it $225 rifle. $50 something dollar scope and rings, and the bipod was given to me…. Silencer is a form 1.

I kind of want to put the same scope as on my CZ 600 on it (Vortex Viper 5-25x56 ENR-7c) and get some Lapua Center-X.

SOLD 40X 22LR

I have an excellent condition 40x in 22LR for sale. I was planning to use this for a repeater build but the rifle’s condition is too good to convert it. The action in this rifle is very smooth.

Stock and metal are all in excellent condition as well as the muzzle

This rifle has the matching bolt with the serial number engraved on it. Rifle is a 5 digit serial number and looks to be manufactured in 1965 based on the barrel code.

Also, this rifle has a Jewell HVR that will come with it. I do not have the original trigger.

Accessories BA Mk12 Barrel Stainless Steel CHEAP

Ballistic Advantage 223 Wylde Mk12 Ops profile for the AEM5 brake and collar. 18 inches. Paint and marks from use.

Ran this barrel for about 100 rounds on a Mk12 Mod1. Went with a different setup when I decided cloning wasnt really my thing. It shot OK with factory ammo. About 1.5 MOA. I'm sure it would do better with hand loads or if you only shot 3 shot groups. 😂

Out of spec upper?

Yesterday I received a stripped upper I'd purchased from a well-regarded manufacturer for an SPR-ish build. While inspecting the upper, I noticed a variance in receiver wall thickness. For a normal build I wouldn't be concerned but I'm trying to squeeze as much accuracy out of this thing as possible. Is this worth bringing to the attention of the manufacturer for an exchange?

Gunsmithing New Impact 737R 6 Creed Magazine Issues

I have a new Impact 737R, in a Manners PRS stock with the mini chassis. This is the first bolt gun I've built, other than 22's, and I've never had a single mag feeding issue. I have a few Accuracy Internationals, two SA and a LA. I have never had feeding issues no matter what barrel i threw on them.

Being this is my first "custom" short action, i did some research and it looks like either AW and AICS mags will work with the new Impact 737's. I have tried 1 - 5 round Accurate Mag, 2 Metal MDT 10 round mags without binder plate, and one with the binder. I have been messing with feed lips for the last few days periodically, but cant seem to get the thing to feed consistently. The rounds initially would just nose into the feed ramp. So i slowly opened up the front feed lip to give the round an upwards angle, and this is where it gets weird. If i put 10 rounds in the mag, it "typically" will feed rounds 10,9,8,7,6,5 fine, then 4 and 3 will usually nose into the feed ramp, or the case mouth just barely catches the feed ramp enough to jam and mess up the lip. Then, rounds 2 and 1 will feed fine.

I just received the MPA lip tool to adjust the lips a little bit more precisely than damn pliers, so i will mess with it tonight again and see.

I have the primer about 3/4 or more showing on the back of the mag. Seems like if i go more than that, the rounds will puke out. I figured once i was able to get rounds to feed, all of them would feed since I had the front lips opened slightly, but it seems like that isn't the case. I get about 50-60% success rate. I will add pics of what a loaded mag looks like when i get home. Any insight is appreciated. I have also ordered an AI AICS mag as well as an AW mag to try. No clue if it'll make a bit of difference, but figured it was worth a try.
