7wsm rebarrel options

I have a m70 in 7wsm and was kicking around the idea of rebarreling as it’s at the end of its life. I was wondering what cartridge options I had to choose from. I was hoping the 6.5 SAUM was a choice as adg is making brass for it and I love the adg brass I’ve been running in my 300 wm. But looking forward to hearing my options. Hopefully I have this in the correct forum.

20" 556 vs 224v

I'm looking to build a cheapish long range ar. I'm torn between a 20" 224v or 556. Both psa uppers. I plan to potentially rebarrel either with a x caliber barrel in future if accuracy isn't great. But my question is which would you choose? Ammo supply isn't an issue and I have a yhm t3 can id like to use so that's why I'm sticking with those calibers. I can go 22arc but I'd have to rebarrel right away and I don't want to. Going out to 750 yards at local informal gas gun matches. I already have a 16" 8t ar but I'm leaving that set up with a dot for now.

Thermal Clip on/Rifle scope role swap question

Greetings,

This is my first time posting and I'm new to forums, so if I inadvertently break some rule let me know.

My question is as follows

I just invested in a thermal clip on, Infiray RICO Micro V2 640. I would like to use it as a primary optic for my AR, considering it's 4x zoom is perfect for my intended use for the rifle (500 yards and in).

I would also like to use it as a clip on to use on my 6.5 Creedmoor, as I use that rifle for my 400-1000 yard distances. I would use the regular optic on that, just using the thermal to assist in target spotting.

Now, will I have to re-zero the optic every time I switch it? Obviously no need to do that when going AR>6.5, but going 6.5>AR I don't want to have to do a major re-zero every time. I will do a confirmation zero with a few rounds each time, minor adjustments being no big deal. But should I expect have to do major adjustments each time I swap? I would prefer not to have to do that.
