Loading magazines with out smearing bullet lube?

I’ve got fat fingers and whenever I load my Center-X ammo, I always end up smearing the lube from the bullet onto the brass. I have to think that this leads to variation and maybe dirty chambers as the lube builds up.

Anyone have a way to load rounds into CZ45X mags or Voodo mags with out having to finger bang them and get all lubed up?

SOLD Sold

Stocked up on these anticipating a 22 ARC build but decided to head a different direction.

All the same lot, will only sell as packs of 5 boxes of 100, quantity 500. I won’t separately sell a couple of boxes. There are 3 —> 2 packs left of 5 boxes… total quantity 1500 -> 1000 left (2 sold).

For each additional pack of 500 you buy, take $5 off.

Each pack of 500 is $150 shipped and insured! I will likely end up separating the sleeve FYI to ship as the dimensions of the sealed packs are unconventional for most boxes.

Thanks!

Far Left will do Anything to delay the inevitable...

Republicans allowed the left to have their luggage-stealing, transvestite, fudge-packing leftist, criminal cabinet and agency heads...

But when it comes to a Republican nominees... it's delay, delay, delay... obfuscate, trash the nominees... anything. And in the case of Kash Patel.... make damn sure he can't start working for as long as possible to allow the shredding and cover-ups more time to succeed.

How many servers being wiped? How many promotions being handed out and transfers to keep shitbags 'hidden.; How much evidence of criminal behavior inside the DoJ and FBI is being destroyed or hidden before the housecleaning can begin.

It's been tradition to let a President have his cabinet. But not when it comes to the left. Note that all Biden's pardons were also 'justified and fine' but Trump's J-6 pardons are a travesty and a threat to our nation and they are going to be brownshirts and his footsoldiers... when that's exactly what ANTIFA and the Black Block and the BLM criminals have been for the left...

Well, nothing new here. Just wanted to rant this morning.

Can't wait for Patel to go medieval on the Swamp's main enforcement tool.

Just another reminder so no one forgets

Sub machine guns to deal with lady/ kids outside without a mask . That is not a man or a police officer that is a Gestapo thug .

In CA no less where mass murdering child fucking illegals can walk the streets completely safe from these same goons .

Care And Feeding Of A GAP 6.5 SAUM.....

brass001.jpg

Starting with Remington 7MM SAUM brass, You'll need:
Redding 7MM Saum Competiton dies(Type "S" match)
.295 and .291 bushings
.264 Expander mandrel
Feeler gauge
Neck turning tool
Neck trimmer
Caliper
Deburring tool
Priming tool
NECO case neck lube kit

Use the .295 bushing and run the brass through, necking down. I lube the necks on new brass and the entire case if it's once fired 7 SAUM brass.

reload002.jpg

The next step is to run the brass through your expander mandrel, with a .264 mandrel to ready it for turning....
reload003.jpg

xammo001.jpg

Set you neck turning tool at 15 thousandts with a feeler gauge, and turn the necks all the way to the neck/shoulder junction. Use of the moly coated shot to slick up the inside of the necks will really help the process and keep the brass from "galling".

xammo006.jpg

xammo002.jpg

Like so....

xammo004.jpg

Trim to 2.025" and deburr inside and out....

xammo008.jpg

Prime, charge and seat bullets per usual.

After the initial firing I use the .291 bushing in the sizing process.

Runout has been stellar on the 500 rounds I've processed using this method.

Trump Floats Shipping America’s Serial Criminals to ‘Foreign Land’ for ‘Very Small Fee’

A poster came up with a great idea. Ship them to an isolated island, where they can kill each other! Have cameras setup everywhere for pay per view.

“We also have many violent criminals in our country, however, that did not necessarily come here illegally, but have been arrested 30 times, 35 times, 41,42 times, in a couple of cases,” Trump said.

He then highlighted heinous crimes, ranging from murder in general to criminals pushing passengers in front of subways to baseball bat assaults to violent home invasions of elderly folks.

“I don’t want these violent repeat offenders in our country any more than I want illegal aliens from other countries who misbehave,” Trump said.

“And I say, and this is subject to getting it approved, but if they’ve been arrested many, many times–they’re repeat offenders by many numbers–I want them out of our country,” he added. “I also will be seeking permission to do so.”

Trump then said America would pay “a very small fee” to a “foreign land” that housed the worst of criminals:

What caused this primer failure?

Last night I fired 5 handloaded rounds through my 20" 308 AR. FC brass, 175 smk bullet, 41.5 IMR4064, the 5 rounds average 2570 fps which is in the ballpark of normal for a 20" I believe.

However, I had 2 of the WLR primers piece at the edge..... see the 2 primers at the top of the pic in my hand. I don't believe I'm seeing any other pressure signs on the case head. The bummer is these pierced primers apparently stuck my ejector down, and cut little divots into my bolt face.

What would cause a primer to pierce at the edge like this? Is this bolt still safe to use once I get the ejector functioning again?

Rifle Scopes March 3-24 and NX8 Replacement

I've been out of the scope game for awhile. I currently own a nx8 4-32 ffp and a March 3-24x52 ffp.

The March was a very unique scope in weight and magnification range years ago when i purchased it. It's not the best at everything, but very versatile and I've taken multiple elk with it.

Contemplating getting a new scope for a new gun I'm dreaming up and wondering what has come out in recent years that is better than what I have.

I'm looking for something that is relatively light, has a pretty high magnification at the top end for load development, and a wide field of view on low power for hunting in timber. The reticle also needs to be visible in dark timber on low power without illumination. This is one area that the March really excels - looks like a duplex on 3x and the center dot is amazing for shooting groups on high power.

Any suggestions? Surely something better has had to come out in the past 8 years. The nx8 didn't exist when i bought the March. I like the nx8, but the March has a more versatile reticle.

Thanks!

SOLD Burris XTR III 5.5-30X56 SCR MIL US made $900 shipped

I am the original owner. I mounted it, zeroed, confirmed it tracked reliably and accurately, then it's been sitting. This scope is in like new condition and comes with everything it left Colorado with **rings are not included**.

I like these US made XTR III so much that this is my 3rd 5.5-30 & I had 2 of the 3.3-18X50. I think the 5.5-30 have noticably better optical performance than the 3.3-18 and I think the US made non illuminated versions are better than the Philippines made illuminated versions.

SPF $900 shipped, if you want insurance (I wouldn't do it because it's a scam) I'm happy to insure it but that cost is on the buyer. I prefer no PayPal as they are anti gun (but so are most all other options, so...) but I will accept it as long as it's discreet and the fee is on the buyer.

Trades:
-ARC Xylo chassis for a R700 SA right hand (possibly other similar chassis)
-Bushnell Match Pro ED 3-18X50
-Bushnell Broadhead LRF

Please reach out with any questions or for more pics.

Rifle Scopes 2x-3x minimum mag western hunting scope

Looking for a FFP MIL scope for hunting out west with a minimum magnification of 2x-3x and around 15x on the high end for practice at the range and longer shots. I’ve looked at the NX8 and Burris XTRs. Vortex has a bunch of options not sure which ones are worth it. I’m looking to stay around 1K with gov discounts. Durability is more of a concern than finding the clearest one. Am I missing any options from any other manufactures?

Rifle Scopes Schmidt & Bender joins forces with Facebook

That’s right, you heard it here first folks, our very own Marxist turned capitalist flip flopper now has a rifle scope named after Facebook… eh, Meta.

Okay all joking aside, one of the most exciting optics announcements at SHOT is the new S&B Meta 3-18x42 but with a FFP flavor. Here are the specs, read them and weep, no - I mean literally weep because #FOVGate strikes again and the USA version gets shafted or restricted due to Swaro’s sketchy patent. But even with the lower FOV this could prove to be an amazing crossover optic, but where will the price land on Schmidt’s wheel of fortune, will it be $3k, $4k or maybe even $5k…
