SOLD For Sale: PM2 Schmidt & Bender Ultra Short in MSR

Hello everyone, My price Is very flexible send me offers if you dont feel my price is right.

I’m letting go of my PM2 Schmidt & Bender Ultra Short in MSR, paired with a Spuhr mount, due to financial reasons. I’m located in Orange County , Irvine , Southern California (92612), and my preferred method is a local sale. If local isn’t possible, I’m open to working with only reputable and highly regarded members of this community for an online transaction.

I never really got into long-range shooting due to financial constraints, so this setup has seen minimal use. I’m asking $2300 OBO with the Spuhr mount included. I’m also flexible on the pricing and open to working with serious buyers. If you feel my pricing is unreasonable, let’s discuss it—I’m willing to find a fair middle ground.

Payment & Shipping

  • Preferred Payment Method: Zelle
  • Buyer pays the shipping label for online transactions.
  • Due to being recently scammed out of $1350 via a PayPal chargeback on Reddit’s GATF, I’ve migrated to this platform. If needed, I can provide proof of my negative outstanding PayPal balance and dispute.

Trust & Verification

I understand trust is a two-way street, especially as a new seller here. To build confidence, I’m willing to provide verification, such as:

  • Driver’s license
  • Address
  • Hostage photo

Recording of both Packing and Drop off, and whatever the else you need.
    My number, is 949 - 355 - 7781pm2.jpgpm22.jpgpm7.jpgpm6.jpgpm5.jpgpm4.jpgpm3.jpg

For sale: Brand new, unfired Elite Sand Accuracy International AXSR in 7 PRC.

I’m moving this incredible piece because I don't even have the time to shoot my AT-XC. I bought it from Mile High this past fall, and it's been sitting unused since then.

This rifle features a premium Proof steel 26" barrel with a 1:8 twist, threaded 5/8x24, plus a self-timing Tuebor 30 cal titanium brake.

It comes complete with the factory box and manuals. Please note that the bipod is not included in this sale.

I’m open to considering a partial trade for an Impact short action with a .308 bolt face and a 75-degree throw. I would also entertain an Atlas or Infinty pistol in 9 or 40. Don’t miss out on adding this top-tier rifle to your collection!

SOLD Cadex Defense CDX-MC KRAKEN Multi-Cal .338LM - Plus .300WM/.308Win/6.5CM - SALE-SALE-SALE

For a variety of reasons, some health related, some due to the loss of any range over 100 yards, I am parting with my Cadex Kraken. This comes complete in 4 calibers as detailed below, .338 Lapua Magnum, .300 Win Mag, .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor. This was bought by me new, directly from Cadex in July of 2018. All of the barrels have been shot, some more than others and I have tried to faithfully record this. My preference would be to sell as a complete package and not start splitting up rifle from barrels, etc. I’m happy to discuss the provenance of the rifle or any aspect of the sale with serious buyers. Payment options can be discussed, but I will manage all shipping and insurance from my FFL to your FFL at my cost. Thanks!

$12,000 $9,500 $9,000 Shipped/Insured - Not looking for trades, thanks!

It’s a lot of dough, but you’ll never see a better deal! Calling this the “Inauguration Day Sale”!
If you bought today, you’d be closing in on $20K! The barrels alone run $1,385.95/each

Description
The Cadex CDX-Kraken is an innovative multi-caliber rifle designed to adapt to any mission. The Kraken currently features the lowest change in POI of any other multi-caliber weapon system on the market. Its multi-caliber capabilities are based on the traditional barrel to action threading system that incorporates a torque system on the breech side allowing for rapid barrel changes. Kraken barrels have a 1.3” heavy straight taper with a barrel band and muzzle threading and are produced by Bartlein with 5R single cut rifling. The robust bolt features 3 lugs and has a 60° throw for rapid and reliable action cycling. The trigger is Cadex’s own DX2 Evo two stage trigger.
The Cadex Kraken sits in its own proprietary chassis that combines design elements of the Dual Strike and the Light Strike chassis that is highly ergonomic and adaptable. At the rear of the Kraken’s chassis is a completely tool-less buttstock that is adjustable for length of pull, cheek piece height, and recoil pad height. The magazine well is designed to use interchangable magazine sleeves that accept most AICS pattern magazines. The chassis system features an over-the-action full length top rail that is available in 20, 30, or 45 MOA.

Features of the Cadex Kraken Multi-Caliber Rifle

  • Cerakote Finish is durable and non-reflective.
  • V-Shaped Bedding System eliminates action movement in chassis.
  • Mirage Control Tube helps mitigate image distortion from barrel heat.
  • 3 Lug Bolt with 60° Throw allows for reliable and fast action cycling.
  • DX2 Evo Trigger is factory set to a two stage trigger but can be converted to single stage trigger.
  • Folding Buttstock allows for compact transport and bolt handle protection.
  • Toolless Adjustments to the Length of Pull, Cheek Rest Height, and Buttpad Height.

Rifle Scopes Nx8- mk5- atacr- 20s scar

Hi all, new member and first post so bare with me. A little summary before the main question. I tend to collect firearms a lot more then I shoot most of them. I live in ohio and on my own property only have a 100yard range at the moment. This summer I'll try and clear a lane to reach out to 400 yards. If I wish to shoot further out to a mile I'll have to take an hr drive.

Majority of my shooting experience is woth a cqb type rifle and hunting is always withing 150 yards. So my wheelhouse of experience with distance is next to non existent. Almost all my rifles have an eotech, or lpvo.

Recently scratched an itch and picked up a scar 20s. Couldn't make my mind up 308 or 6.5 creedmoor so went with both (came in 6.5 and bought the 308 barrel). So I need a scope! Like many others this will spend much more of it's life in the safe or on display then being used. But ya never know. I also doubt this is a practical shtf rifle with its size and weight. But ya never know, maybe I'll start working out and prefer a 12lb rifle.

Point blank, the spare barrel ate up some of my optic funds. It seems like the Atacr is everyone's favorite next to the big money scopes like s&b. I found a atacr 4-20 demo for 2300. Atacr 4-16 for 2k. Leupold mk5 3.6-18 (in fde.. stupid but that's a selling point to me) for 1600. And was considering the nf nx8 2.5-20 for 1600 also, but it seems of the 3 that's the least quality or liked. Now I know that atacr isn't a bad price. But I wanted to top out around 2k with a mount. Do I go with the mk5 or make things work to buy the atacr and then wait a little to get the mount and do the buy once cry once? I really was trying to go with an fde scope to go with the already 50 shades of fde from fn.

If there's any other suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks in advance

Night Vision Thermal Clip on with helmet capability

I’m looking at picking up a thermal clip on in the near future but am unsure which to get. I want the capability to shoot as far as possible but am not sure of the capabilities of commercial thermals in a budget of around $5k. I’ve been looking at the Bering optics super yoter c and the iray rh25 v2. I like the ability to mount the iray to a helmet, but prefer the mounting system of the Bering optics directly to the scope as my primary rifle does not have an nv bridge currently. Are there any other thermals I should be looking at that can clip directly to the scope and can be used on a helmet or do these two have both capabilities?
Thanks in advance

NV, Thermal or combo

I have an AGM Neith on my 300blk currently. For the money, I love it. I'm in need of an optic for my .308 and was considering going with a thermal, but I'm poor so my budget would be <$2k. I was looking at the AGM Rattler V2 25-384 then I got to thinking about the possibility of just getting another Neith and using the other $1200 towards a thermal monocular for spotting.

I'm relatively new to this. Which option makes more sense for pig hunting?

Gunsmithing Measurements prior to threading / chambering

As requested............

There are several key measurements that need to be taken prior to fitting a rifle barrel to any receiver. Of course, if were talking about a trued Remington, Winchester, Savage etc. these merasurements need to be taken after all receiver work has been completed. Prior to any machine work being performed the barrel blank should be indicated in to .0002" or better. This barrel was indicated in to .0001" TRI.

First, as I see it, the key measurements or information that is needed are as follows;

1. Headspace (include recoil lug with this measurememnt)
2. Tennon diameter
3. Tennon Length
4. Threads per inch (TPI)
5. Bolt face depth from bolt nose rim
6. Bolt lug face's from bolt nose rim (front of lugs)

The headspace on this receiver is actually 1.272". The tennon diameter is 1.0625" x 16 TPI (my signature receiver) The tennon length is determined by the relastionship between the rear of the breech just ahead of the bolt nose recess (outer ring) and the and bolt lug faces. I allow .005" clearence between breech rear and bolt lug faces. When measured, the bolt face and bolt lug faces are the same measurement from the bolt nose rim on my signature receivers. This isnt always the case with other receivers and why this is another measurement you need prior to fitting a barrel.

Getting headspace (1.272")
2l9o2l4.jpg

Getting bolt nose to bolt face and lug faces (.160")
250josm.jpg

OK, at this point I have all I need in order to fit the barrel. I just need to load the barrel in the lathe, face it off and mark my tennon for the first cuts. I set a dial caliper to my headspace measurement of 1.272" at this time and load the barrel. I use the depth measurement portion of the caliper to get enough barrel sticking out but not too much. Sometimes, I scribe a line on the tennon as you ses here. look close.

Here's a better way to mark the tennon length

Now, set tool center and releife. With machine running touch off on the workpeice and zero the dial, turn up Godsmack and away we go.
