(Longer Story and intent)

God has a sense of humor and decided I am to be left handed and left eye dominant so I very much prefer left handed bolt rifles. Both my kids are right hand right eye dominant with my 9 year old daughter needing her own bolt action deer rifle this coming season. She's killed a few with one my .223 ARs using handloads, but I want my rifle back. I bought the RH .308 RAP for $300 off a buddy and it's simply too much for my daughter with the 180 interlock load. I know I could load the .308 down with lighter bullets and a lower charge but I also have a left hand
RAP in 6.5cm. She isn't bothered at all shooting the 6.5cm.

From my limited knowledge over the past few months lurking the site, I should be able to gorilla break the factory barrel nuts off and swap them 1:1 after headspacing, correct?

I got it from another Hide member, and haven’t used it much, but it tracks perfectly and has very good glass. It comes with the original packaging, sunshade, scope caps, spare windage knob, etc. as well as Seekins 34mm 1” tall rings, and a bubble level. It does have a couple small cosmetic blemishes on the tube, but nothing that affects function in any way.

Almost three years ago I took my 1903A4 parts with a actual A43 receiver new Criterion barrel to Roland for assembly. He has moved to Heber Springs, Arkansas (I think). Ok, so unlike a semi-tone kind of life, I'd like to figure out recommendations on an optic for a PRS rifle I'll be building. Right now, all of my optics are more budget. I've got a few Athlons (2 x Cronus - though one is the LPVO and Ares ERT), a Trijicon Accupower (LPVO, but I like it better than almost any other LPVO, including hte stupid Accupoint), a Vortex LHT - lovely glass), and some cheaper crap I'm not bothering to list (and like a gazillion red dots and magnifiers). But I'm looking for advice on the best optic I can get for sub-$2k (with a normal sale, not a freak once every 15 years sale). My priorities are eye relief and clarity of glass in the center. Less worried about CA, specifics of reticle (any tree will do, and to be honest, I'd be fine with a perfect german + reticle with marks in mils, I tend to dial windage too).

I know this is ambiguous, but I just can't see myself ever going for the top glass (I'm too cheap value minded).

Building an AR-10 for gas gun div. Thinking about getting an XTR Pro for the scope. Seeing what everyone uses for scope mounts. I've looked at the JP because they have a 34mm 20moa mount with 4 cross bolts that looked to be pretty rigid. I considered seekins but all of theirs are 0moa. What are ya'll using for long range AR usage?
