Morning guys,

Finished up making my clone, I just one issue that is stumping me. I have the correct badger bottom metal, but the rounds don’t want to feed from the magazine. They only push forward and not up on the feed ramp. My other 308 in a chassis does not have the same issue. Any ideas?

I was chatting with SIG support today to confirm the warranty for RFs. They said that as of today it is still 5 years from the date of manufacture but they will be releasing new warranty info in the near future that will be better, but wouldn't give details as to what the new warranty will be or when it will be released exactly. He also mentioned that this new warranty will be grandfathered in for old purchases.

Also got in touch with EO and they said the warranty for SIG RFs is 10 years for electronics but had no other info available.
Anyone happen to know what the new warranty is?

MDT poly/metal mags... Any good?

I have several of MDTs straight poly and straight metal mags and have been happy with them. The hybrid's metal feed lips with weight/noise of polymer body sounded great for hunting and I was thinking about trying them out next time I needed a few mags.

Now I see great prices on the black Friday sale, but they're in the discontinued category which makes me a bit worried that 1) they aren't great and 2) if I like them I won't be able to get more.

I haven't been able to find very much info on them so... Does anyone have an opinion to share?

I've found another way to waste my time and money, but in a good cause.

I coach 4H CMP Sporter Rifle and when the command "load" is given most kids insert their magazines, then we all wait while the kids with tube-magazine rifles insert their 10 rounds into the tube, one by one. There are commercial speedloaders that help with this process and are usually a lot cheaper to use. I went a different route by making a loader that is a little more expensive to produce but should last forever. I give these away whenever I see a kid with a tube magazine rifle.

Starting with a piece of empty .308 brass (or basically any 30 cal brass), cut it in half. Glue the two pieces onto both ends of a length of 5/16 or 3/8 tubing after first placing a rolled up foam earplug into the end where the bullet nose rests. I use 11.5 inches of tubing because most .22 rounds are 1" long, and after 1" is deducted for the earplug and 1/4" is deducted for the hitch pin there is roughly 10" of space remaining for 10 rounds. For the tubing I've used arrow shafts, copper plumbing pipe, clear hard plastic drinking straws, aluminum tubing from an old antenna, and a disassembled indoor clothes drying rack. I use a hacksaw to cut the brass and the tubing, a drill to drill a hole for the hairpin clip, and a wire wheel on a grinder to polish the brass.

The shooter first loads 10 rounds into the speedloader, nose first, and sets aside. When loading the rifle's inner magazine tube is removed completely from the rifle. While holding the rifle muzzle up the speedloader is inserted and the hairpin clip removed. Rounds slide into the tube by gravity. The inner magazine tube is reinserted and locked in place. Done.

So, I am done with my wife's stainless skillets, as well as the French enamel coated cast iron.

Out of all the modern cast iron, and there a lot of them.........who has the best, and why.....?

Picked up an eotech mk2 elr recently and just wondering how it compares to a voodooM for the guys that have both or been around both. I’m finding out I’m a BAE core type of guy and while I do like the eotech unit I’m just wondering if I’m missing out not owning a M? I debated between these two before picking up the eotech and my main driver for going with the eotech was the larger germanium objective. I hunt open plains with no trees so identifying coyotes at 800+ is a big deal. Price of the voodoo was also a factor LOL

Any good recommendations on non impact bullet puller for 25cal? PMA makes a nice one but not available in that size. I have the Frankford impact one that I usual stuff a piece of foam down in it to protect the ELDs but wanted to see if there was something better.

For sale is a good condition Eotech OPMOD EXPS 2-2 and Eotech 4x Magnifier with flip to side mount. The 4x magnifier is pretty rare at this point. Glass is very good, some cosmetic dings and nicks to the housings. $1200 ppff

Anyone else getting the cloudflare screen of death when trying to access Silencerco? Its been a couple days like this.

Only used a few times (<10) then upgraded to Garmin. Excellent condition. Hopefully this can help someone get a good start at a cheaper price point!
