SOLD $1000 OFF Meopta B1 Plus 8x32 Binos

For sale is a very well cared for pair of 8x32 B1 Plus binos. These feature flouride HD lenses and locking diopter. These are top of the line binos with outstanding glass that rival Swaro/Leica/Zeiss etc. If you are looking for a compact high end pair for binos for hunting, these are the ones to have. The neck strap was never even worn. The only reason I am selling is these are a bit redundant for me now that I have picked up the Rangefinding 8x42 Swaro binos. You will not be disappointed, they actually rank higher than Leica/Zeiss compacts for prolonged viewing periods. If you aren't currently carrying binos in the woods with you, I guarantee you are missing out.

I haven't sold brass in a bit. So if I'm way off on pricing, make me a reasonable offer and I'm sure we can make a deal.

Prices are SHIPPED CONUS. Insurance over $100 is on you, in the unlikely event that you want it. Otherwise, brass is yours once it is scanned at the carrier.

First "I'll take it" in the comments trumps pending offers via PM.

Help analyzing 6.5 Creedmoor results

I took my 6.5 out yesterday and did some load testing with what I would call “odd” results. Components used were as follows, Nosler 140 RDF, lapua SRP brass, H4350 powder and Federal GM205M primers. I shot at 200 yards as it was a super calm morning. I lost the first 5 round group but found 3 of the shots at about 1.9 inches for a group. I have posted the results for the other 4 groups below. What I found “Odd” was how quickly it went from 1.9 inches to just over a half inch and then back out to 1.9 inches with just .6 grains of powder difference. Anyone else find this strange? I’ve loaded some more rounds up at 40.5 , 40.6 and 40.7 grains to take back out and see if the .570 group was a fluke and if there are any gains to be made.

Virgin Brass and Projectile Measurement Tolerances

Question for our experts here. The virgin cases I’ve measured are 260 rem Peterson and the bullet is Nosler ABLR 142gr. Here are the ES for each measurement.

Brass:
Length : .006”
Neck Diameter: .004”
Neck Thickness: .0035”
Weight: .8gr

Bullet:
Length: .0065”
Diameter: .0035”
Wright: 1.4gr

Are these ES measurements within acceptable tolerance? I’ll be shooting at least 600 yards and upto 1K.

Aero Precision Solus Hunter

After about a 10 year hiatus from the shooting world after my divorce I decided to take the plunge back into the world of Long Range shooting again. I had been shopping the Bergara rifles pretty hard but the reviews from actual shooters were all over the place so I found it hard to throw a bunch of money at one. I had also been researching the Aero Precision rifles and woke up this morning to find Midway USA had the Precision Hunter at a pretty steep discount. The rifle should be here towards the end of next week and I look forward to getting a scope mounted up and putting it through its paces. Needless to say I am pretty excited as this is my first new firearm purchase since before my divorce. I will try and post regularly on here about my experiences with this rifle.

Firearms HK sp5

Up for sale is an sp5 that I just don't use enough.

Probably less than 600rds though it, I bought it new.
Comes with a green dot MRO on a scalarworks 1.54 mount. The claw picatinny mount is missing one screw. I've not had it affect anything, and it still holds zero.
Dakota arms mlok handguard, LFT hand stop, 11 30rd mags.
2 are "le gov restricted" marked. The rest are marked made in Germany.
Also included is a b&t folding stock.

Looking for $3,300 shipped to your FFL.
I'm not interested in splitting it up at the moment. If it doesn't sell I'll just keep and continue to have fun with it every once in awhile.

AR-10 Barrel

I’m looking at buying an AR-10 barrel in .308 and have more or less narrowed my options down to a 20” Krieger 1:11 M110 profile ($650, no bolt) and a 20” Shilen 1:10 full length tactical profile ($550, bolt included). I want the rifle to be a multi-purpose long range rig, not to bulky to carry around and not so light that it can’t shoot long strings accurately. I’d like to hear thoughts on these brands in general and on these two profiles. Thanks

Action Wrenches - SAC vs Impact

I recently picked up an Impact 737r action. Looking forward to using it and swapping out barrels.
Which action wrench is the preferred option? I've narrowed my choices to (open to alternatives too):
My experience with SAC quality and their customer services has been very good, but an action wrench created by the Impact also had me thinking.

SOLD Sig Sauer P226 (W. GERMAN) 9mm with extra's. (LNIB) *****SOLD*****

I have a Like New, old school Sig Sauer P226 that has had less than 100 rounds shot down the pipe. It is an Early German model that is date stamped KF 1995 and what is unusual about this Sig is that it has the Triple Serial Numbers. So I called Sig and the Customer Service/ Technical Support guy said that this Sig is a West German made Sig P226 based on the actual Serial Number and the fact that it has the Triple Serial Number markings. It must have been a Transitional gun right at the cut off between German and West German and was marked German instead of W. German.

This Sig shoots like a Dream and is Super Accurate like all the West German models. I actually have the Original Factory box and Factory 5 shot Test Target for this Sig, and 3 High Capacity magazines.

This is the closest that you are going to find to a Brand New W. German made Sig P226 that is 30 years old.
