I am receiving my first Zeiss LRP S3 in mil tomorrow. This will be going on a rimfire for PRS/NRL22.

Is it possible to set the zero stop a couple tenths below zero for those closer than 50 yards. Obviously I can hold under, but was wondering if there was a way to dial "under". I looked through the user manual, but only saw the portion for setting a true zero. Also did the google/youtube search and wasn't able to find anything.

Very nice condition. Comes with Leupold rings and Leupold caps. The reticle appears to be a Mil hash type instead of mildot. Glass is immaculate. The entire scope is pristine in fact. I got it in a trade and don't need it.

Has three micro specks in it that you can't see in pictures. External lenses/coatings look great. Specs are only visible from 3x-5x. Lower than 3x they're too small to see, higher than 5x they're out of the window.
Besides that, the scope looks great.

I've seen NF fix these specks for free, I just don't have time to fool with it right now and need cash.

I needed to shorten the catch release to use a WSM magazine in an MDT Timbr chassis/stock.

I filed the catch down until the magazine locked in and would not come out pulling on the mag.

It now drops free on recoil.

I replaced the spring. Same problem.

Is the catch too short or too long?

All work done by Zach Tanned at Misery Customs. The rifle shoots really well with 180 and 185gr berger hybrids and h1000. It has been hunted with and shot, so has a few scuff marks. I'm selling due to an eye injury forcing me to shoot wrong handed.

The S&W 460XVR has a gain twist barrel.
How would this affect the performance of 454C and 45LR rounds that were not designed for this type barrel?
