I ordered a McMillan stock through St Arbor Customs on the 14th September 2022. I was replacing an FN SPR A3G stock so they had to do some custom work for me as McMillan doesn't inlet for this rifle anymore. So this stock cost me quite a bit of money that I paid upfront for.

The last correspondence I have from them is April 2024, but I haven't been able to get a response since.

I'm in Australia so I can't call and am reliant on emails - Does anyone know if they are still in business?

I just realized it has been 10 years since I put together the 17.6” Lilja from the first forum group buy. It’s a unique Wasp contour barrel that is really lightweight, but has been repeatedly-accurate and quite precise for such a light AR-15. It has also been boringly-reliable after many range trips, shooting courses, and load-testing sessions over these years.





The main ammo I have fed this carbine is hand loads of 31.2gr of CFE223 under 123gr A-MAXs, as well as Hornady 123gr ELD-M factory ammo.

I basically shot this blaster from 2014-2017 almost exclusively for anything LR until I built the 12” Grendel. I shot some 16”, 22”, 20”, and 18” as well, but really focused on that 17.6 Lilja until I did the 12”, then have mainly focused on the 12”. I usually take them both though. I had been shooting a 16” Grendel prior to this since 2009.




Since last year, I’ve been having my youngest son shoot it to get him trained-up and shooting steel at distance.





He has shot it at 300yds, 400yds, and 1000yds so far with a very high hit rate. I think he only had 1 miss at 1000yds out of 4 or 5 rounds of the new 100gr ELD-VT.

Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x32 the whole time, still tracking, dead-on at 100 to 600yds.

Weight without bipod or magazine was 7lbs 12oz initially with the Vltor Gen I Clubfoot. It balances out better with the LaRue RAT stock, but might be slightly heavier. Feels amazing in the hands, like an older M4 with the Wasp 727 barrels pre-SOPMOD heavy pipes.

It has been just a great little lightweight carbine that shoots more like a heavy bolt gun on-target.

Things I would do differently (nit-pics):

I would use an ADM UIC Ambi billet lower receiver or cut a PDQ lever channel into the A2 before I Cerakoted it.
I maybe would have spec’d the gas system to Intermediate Length and had PF do the work on the barrel with their ILGS set-up.
I would have gone with the LaRue RAT stock out of the gate maybe with the bag rider attachment from LaRue.
I would have preferred a handguard with a small 6 o’clock section of rail for a QD bipod option so I could use my TBAC bipod on it more easily.
I would have painted the scope and mount.
Maybe texture the SPR grip and Cerakote it FDE.
I would have Cerakoted the barrel FDE.

Looking to sell my full thread Terminus Zeus barreled action. Action and barrel have exactly 240 rounds through them. Bolt is brand new, originally had the exposed firing pin shroud and joel swapped the whole bolt out for a new one.

Barrel is a cut rifled benchmark that was spun up by Deep South Tactical. Chambered in 6.5 creedmoor and is a 26 inch m24 contour.

There was talk earlier in the year that AB would be rolling out a new app this summer. I was curious where that stands?

I found the AB Connect app on the App Store but that may be for military? Downloaded it for the heck of it and it’s asking me to connect a device to get access. Currently wearing my Tactix 7 but maybe that isn’t ready to go?

Anywho, curious where this project stands for getting all these devices synced up but maybe even more so providing a user interface that builds a better work flow with some graphical enhancements.

I think building out target cards with an easy gui and clean process would be my #1. A dedicated comparative tab would be cool too where multiple profiles could be selected.

I have a personally assembled 7mm PRC I reluctantly need to sale. It is built on an Impact Precision NBK Long Action. The barrel is a Bartlein 3b profile Stainless Steel barrel cut by Joe Walls with Walls Rifles down in Florida. It is cut to around 23" and is threaded for a break or a suppressor. The stock is a Manners LRH with left and right side QD non-rotating cups front and back and has an Atlas rail up front for a bipod. The DBM is a Hawkins Precision Hunter DBM and it has their low profile mag. The trigger is a Bix'N Andy Tacsport Pro-X trigger. I glass bedded the action using MarineTex Gray. There has been 252 rounds down the pipe on this rifle and it is a tack driver as long as she is driven right.

The first group photo is with 175gr Berger Elite Hunters at 100 yards. The second on steel is with the same load at 600 yards. The two cardboard target groups were with 175gr ELD-Xs at 100 yards. I have all load data that I may provide. I have a set of Redding premium dies and used brass I would toss in too. LabRadar speed for the Berger 175gr load is an avg. of 2930 and the ELD-X load is 2895.

No screw on thread protector.

Scope and bipod are not for sale.

Around 113 pieces of used brass and 38 loaded rounds would come with it along with a set of 2-die set of Redding Premium Dies.
