For those not familiar with the B14R, they are chambered in .22LR, standard barrel is 18" and heavy barrel is 20" (threaded and include a thread protector) and have a Rem700 footprint. Meaning, they will 'drop-in' any Rem700 stock or chassis, they use a Rem700 short action scope base and will accept a Rem700 trigger.

Complete rifle stock has adjustable length of pull spaces and adjustable cheek.

IMO, $ 4 $, these are the best barreld actions out there to date.

Text is better, as I don't live on here, yet my phone is with me all the time.

Looking to pick up a suppressor specifically for my ARs, .204, 5.56, 6 arc, and .300 BO. What's currently the best value to cover these calibers? Looking for best suppression in a reasonable length ~7". Weight is not a concern but budget is. I see Hux mentioned quite a bit but there seems to be conflicting reports on how well the actually suppress. They are pricey as well. Would something like the Enticer S be a reasonable solution?

Building an 8.6 Blackout off of a Remington M700(SA) but having a hard time finding a quality barrel with the prefered 1:3 twist.

There are many barrels available for the AR actions but not so much for a regular bolt gun.

I'm not interested in a Faxon barrel.

Any suggestions?

Anybody got any time behind the NON LRF binos? Specifically, can anyone confirm if the reticle can be focused independently?

Why current milling binos do not have an independent reticle focus and with my aging eyes, the reticle is far from sharp.

Have package deal on 2 Rails that I no longer use. 1 w/ stop studs has been used other barely even used. Maybe 2 times mounted. No hardware included.

So to preface. I have a total of 5 TTs. Two Diamonds on my two custom actions, 2 specials on bighorns, and this special on the R700 on my XM3. Have never really experienced this, and unbeknownst to me until I sat down to practice dry firing last night and ran the bolt rather aggressively, was getting slamfires. Trigger is at 1ish lbs. Obviously the sear engagement can't be adjusted. I could get it safely at 2lbs, just much heavier than I'm used to. Though I could work with it, but I am curious if this has happened to anyone else with TT and an R700?

If this has happened to you what was the solution? I haven't really strayed from TT in years, part of me has half a mind to throw a diamond on it and set it o 1.5lbs.

Pondering this with a couple of coworkers today, 7 people at work and little else to occupy our childish nature, it turned to what if scenarios. Seeing the entire DFW metroplex shutdown because of what might happen, we discussed essential gear and I brought up the things that you might not consider as important.

This came about because of the Pynch Pulley. I recently became aware of them reading a back country hunting thread somewhere. I had never considered something so small as being potentially useful in a survival/shtf scenario.

With this in mind, and a full understanding this may derail into a cluster.

What are some small items or gear would you consider useful or potentially useful to have in a bug out bag? Something that other's might not necessarily thing of.

I have been listening to the "Borrowed World" series on Audible. This is just one of many "apocalyptic type series I have in my library, most are pretty cookie cutter, color in the lines type.

I want to hear from those that think outside the box, @sirhrmechanic and his thread on his motorcycle trip and his "hatchet" carry, made reconsider this and that is one thing I want to add to my inventory. I just can't decide if I want a "camp" or "tomahawk" defense style.
