Nx8 2.5-20 vs mk 5 3.6-18?

Which would you pick and why?
For context this will primarily live on a 14.5 build. Occasionally could move over to a bolt gun hunting rig.

I get a mil discount on both making them close in price (for non illuminated mk5 at least).

I like how compact they both are but not opposed to the 4-32 nx8 or 5-25 mk5.

Both are lighter options than taking the thicccc razor out for a hunt

I have 250 pieces of alpha 6br brass sized down to 22br. It has been fired 4 times. 88eldm’s at 2950fps. It has not been ran over pressured or even near. I also have a Forster 22br sizing die that has been honed to .2450” to match the alpha brass necks. Would like to sell them together. Brass is $0.50 each, so $125 and the die is $50.00 for a total of $175. I’ll pay shipping. PayPal F&F preferred

Harris slm 9-13, rrs btc arca/pic harris head and pod lock upgrade. Put this together for my wife just to find out it’s to tall for her and it’s just not a good fit for her. Entire thing is unused other then one zero session with maybe 20 shots from prone on a 22lr. Absolutely perfect other then the little scratch on the pod lock lever in photo. Not sure how that would have even gotten there but it’s there. $185 shipped

Mostly-peaceful left sets up site to target Tesla Owners...

So not only does it target them and organizes violence against dealers and owners... it has a "Molotov Cocktail" icon to encourage arson and attacks.

Tesla owners were the darlings of the left until just a few weeks ago. Saving the planet and all that...

But someone took away their Twitter... and now is cutting their funding. So the answer? No... don't come up with better ideas or better political messages... nope, turn into domestic terrorists.

Bondi and Patel have said Tesla attackers will be treated as domestic terrorists. So let's see these idiot start to go to jail and if they cause injuries or deaths, they can ride the needle.

They are unhinged and unleashed! And life means nothing to them because they now think Tesla Owners are committing genocide...

Heads on a swivel, folks. They won't stop with Tesla owners! And when their molotov bombings don't work out.... they'll go after something new. With just as much violence. Churches? Elks clubs? Schools (as usual). Your restaurants that serve that meat (which is murder, after all). These folks are unhinged. And are being turned loose on America.

Where Do We Go From Here?

Well, what an interesting five years we've seen in Rimfire World. From the, "oh, that'll never work," to what is now the multitude of players in the "true-to-scale" market, I'm well into a really cool place made possible by an ability to fuel thoughts of "what's next?"

During the time I've spent away from the forums, I believe clarity has hit me square in the face. As such, I've been able to answer the above, very simple question with a very simple answer; "more of the same....only better." As I've looked back at what already could have been introduced as "the next generation of bolt action rimfire," I've recognized that everything happens for a reason. Also, a number of things have been left undone and faster twist barrels are at the top of my list. I'll pause for a moment to thank the many that have stayed in touch with me via PM to continue long running conversations on the fast twist subject. I'm also thankful to have various design constraints out-of-the-way and am really excited for an opportunity to test new boundaries.

A lot of you will ask, "what makes the next line better?" Well, I won't be talking about that just yet, but bear in mind that what the community is enjoying now started with my ears being wide open and mouth shut....and I've been listening all along. So, thank you all for being an incredible collection of serious shooters that, by your very willingness to participate, continues to fuel what happens around you.

Lastly, it brings me great joy to say, I'm back, and more serious and focused than ever to do something really cool....again. I'm sitting here in front of SolidWorks with various parts on the desk and loving what I'm seeing unfold in front of me....it's actually difficult to not say more than I am. But, you might remember the drip feeding that led up to a thread I started in August of 2017 that's now up to nearly 200 pages, 944,000 views and 10,000 replies. So, here we go....again.
