Firearms Griffin MGL-110 Suppressor for KAC M110

Hey boys,

I have a NIB Griffin MGL-110 for sale on a Form 3 in Texas. I bought two of them, and only need one. This one was mounted on my KAC M110 to check barrel concentricity and put back in the box. It’s never had a round fired through it, and is NIB.
Asking 1700 obo for the suppressor, plus shipping and transfer fees. This will save you at least 400 dollars compared to buying directly from a dealer.

Form 3 transfer to individual in Texas doesn’t require a dealer, but if shipping out of state, it’ll need to go to a dealer first, then transfer to you. 🤙

May consider trades at 2k value. (Really looking for a TBAC 30 cal Magnus)

Thanks! 🫡

Seating question

Hello all,

I have a somewhat stupid question on bullet seating when seating into a compressed load. I’m noticing one bullets OG will be dead on, the next will be 8k longer, the next 4K longer and so on. I need to adjust the die to each specific round I seat. Is this due to the load being compressed slightly differently in each cartridge? Or am I missing something? All the brass is within .5k of spec, so I know it’s not that.

I used to stay away from compressed loads, but sometimes it’s unavoidable. Everything I’m loading is well within SAAMI spec. specifically 223 with 23-24.5 of N140 under a 75g BTHP.

Any tips or tricks with dealing with compressed loads would be helpful!

Accessories Magnetospeed V3, MK Machining Mount, & Milwaukee Packout Custom Case

$599 $499 Magnetospeed V3, MK Machining Mount, & Milwaukee Packout Custom Case shipped Fedex to the lower 48
Package only, will not separate.
  • MagnetoSpeed V3 Ballistic Chronograph $375 ($450 new)
    • ~3yrs old but only used 2x. 1x when I got it and 1x time in '23. Had a kid and took a brief hiatus from shooting.
    • Works perfectly, will come with everything it came with as new except the hard case.
    • Will include the hard case for an additional $20. Roughly my shipping cost to ship it separate.
  • MK Machining Gen ? Magnetospeed Mount (With 12″ Rod) $125 ($160 new)
    • I bought this new, shortly after buying the Magnetospeed.
    • I’m not sure which Gen this one is, I don’t know what the difference is in Gen I, Gen II, & Gen III, maybe somebody can help me out with that. The only difference I can tell between the Gen III and mine is that mine doesn’t have the threaded rod.
  • Milwaukee Packout Organizer 48-22-8430 $49
    • Modified to take the Kaizen Foam. Not cosmetically perfect, but the foam covers up my imperfect cutting of the plastic.
    • Applied Rust-Oleum 253256 Specialty Lens Tint Spray Paint to the inside of the lid to protect the foam on hot range days. I haven't had a hot day to field test this, so be careful leaving it out in the sun.
    • Clear Cover Tinted ($20 material cost)
  • Kaizen Foam Insert $50
    • Option #3
Cashiers Check, Check with time to clear, BTC, or Apple Cash (will figure out hopefully)
Price is firm. This is a great value to someone who doesn't want to modify the case and foam themselves.

Good Shoot?

Middle of the night; dude clearing his house and smokes a black bear (sound only works in full screen for some reason):

i-cjN9HQh-1280.mp4

Thoughts off the top of my head:

Interested in knowing what ammunition he used. Not a big bear, but they’re tough, and usually don’t go down easy.

Nice work on the shooting; looked like good CNS shots right off the bat. Good job. However, less than stellar job clearing the house. If that had been an actual armed intruder, he’d have gotten smoked.

Bonus points for having a sling, but he should have had his support arm through it… much harder to have your weapon taken away from you and used against you. No stone to throw though, he did better than I probably would have done in the middle of the night.

Reloading and Tuning my 16" AR-10

Hi,
I'm relatively new to reloading although, I've had some great success in my process, and I'm really enjoying it.
However, I just came across an "old" batch of resized .308 cases that I had planned on using for my 150gr Barnes MPG's. (multi purpose greens)... initially, I thought I'd use my comparator and set my relative headspace to 1.620... so, I went ahead and cranked out 50 cases at 1.620.... then, I put them away, and kind of set them aside for a while... I jumped over to reload for my Mini-14, Ruger American, DMR and my SPR.
Now, I'm back to my plan to reload for those MPG's.... I re-sized another batch of 100 cases, but, decided to set the bump to - .003 which lands me at 1.624/ 1.626.
I decided not to stick with the 1.620 because I had learned that a .006 shoulder bump may overwork the brass.
So, now my inventory will have some with 1.620 relative headspace and others around 1.624/ 1.626....
Should I be concerned?
I'm going to the range next week and I'm going to compare accuracy and chrono for (5) loads from each set (1.620 vs 1.626).... (150gr Barnes MPG with 45gr of VV N540).
These are for my 16" AR10 "blaster" build..... meant for extreme scenarios under 300 yards, so, I'm not too concerned about 1/2 MOA accuracy....

The reason I chose 1.620 for the MPG's is that many of my other 150gr factory .308 rounds are set at 1.620.... but, most other of my factory .308 rounds are between 1.624 to 1.626.
So, I'm going to just focus on setting my bump to -.002/.003 which lands me between 1.624/1.626 for general reloading purposes.....
although these rounds will be for my 16" AR-10, I want them to fit universally in any of my .308's....

But, as far as having a mixed batch with relative headspace ranging from 1.620 to 1.626, do you see any issues?
(I've got my (3) AR-10's pictured: 16" Wilson Combat Recon; 18" Bartlein, and 24" Shaw Bull........and, a picture of my "reloading station" on top of my wife's dresser).... the bartlein has a slightly smaller chamber and is more sensitive to hotter loads.....

Precision AR -15 10 shot moa groups

So I put together a non clone correct SPR type upper and have been struggling to get the groups I had hoped for. Trying to get some feedback from some more seasoned shooters regarding gas gun accuracy shooting. I mainly have shot bolt action when trying for precision and so I’m not sure what to expect realistically. I’m trying to do some basic load development using 77 gr OTM from Mid South Shooters. I’m loading new Starline brass with Varget and CCI 400 primers. Rifle is 18 inch PRI Douglas stainless MK 12 barrel 1:8 twist Geissele Mark 18 Arca handguard on BCM upper receiver matched to my BCM lower with Geissele 2 stage trigger. Using B5 Sopmod stock with a bag rider. Shooting prone with bipod on front and rear bag. Optic is Meopta Optika 6 3-18X 50 in ADM Recon mount. taking my time and shooting groups at 100 yards, checking all the boxes of solid position, breathing, trigger control, follow through, ect…most groups have been larger than moa. I have one sub moa 10 shot group so far in 200 rounds of attempting my best. I can shoot in the 3’s with my Tikka CTR 308, but don’t know what the deal is so far with this gun ammo optic and shooter combination. Any thoughts? Maybe I should try some 75 gr Hornady or some 69 SMK, but not really blown away so far with this barrel. I’m not saying it’s not just me shooting poorly. I hear a lot of people online claiming 1/2 moa groups with precision gas guns so I’m thinking I have a dud, but then I watch 9 hole reviews comparing a PRI douglas to a BCM 18 inch 1:8 and their best 9 shot group was 1.3 inches with factory Match ammo…I’m fairly new to precision shooting, reloading and especially precision gas guns, so what’s some thoughts dudes of the more seasoned variety? What should I focus on?

Diagnosing Case Separation and Bolt Lug Wear on 6 ARC Rifle

Hey all,
I’m pretty new to building rifles, so I might not have the right vocabulary to fully describe or diagnose everything here, but I’m hoping to get some input.
I just finished putting together a 6 ARC build and took it out for some initial testing. I’m running a RIFLESPEED gas block (set to 6) and shooting suppressed with an OCL Polonium.
I ran into a couple of issues right off the bat. First was a double feed—I'm pretty sure that one's on the mag.
The bigger issue came around the sixth round. When the range went cold, as I cleared the round in the chamber, the case separated and dumped powder all over the inside of the action, but the bullet stayed stuck in the barrel. Worth noting: I had just cleaned the barrel a few rounds before this happened.
I have some video and photos showing the chamber and the round, where you can see rifling marks indicating where the round is contacting the rifling. I’ll attach those for reference.
I’m trying to figure out if this is a gas issue or something else. Does the RIFLESPEED block only restrict gas, or does it also vent some off? I’m wondering if too much gas or pressure is being pushed back into the chamber and causing issues like this. I’m also looking into whether the throat on the barrel is too short—planning to contact the barrel manufacturer about that.
Ejection looked pretty normal—good pattern, not excessive—but when I tore it down afterward, I saw some noticeable wear on two bolt lugs (one above and one below the extractor). That wear has me thinking the timing might be off.
I've attached a couple pics of the bolt lugs as well.
Any ideas or similar experiences? Would appreciate any input.

SOLD WTS: M49 spotting scope early $175 OBO

Older M49 spotter. Case is rough. Scope works. I disassembled and cleaned the prisms and shimmed to hold tightly in place. Prisms are very nice, no chips or scratches. Cleaned the objective best I could. The scope is clear and focuses sharp. This is a vintage piece of gear and at 20x they are not for looking at bullet holes. This is an observation telescope. This has an early property tag. $175 OBO
