*New MDT HNT26 Left handed chassis inlets*

“Left-handed hunters are used to adapting, but we shouldn’t have to.”
That’s how one shooter summed it up, and they’re right. Left-handed options are few and far between, leaving most to modify or settle for gear that wasn’t made for them.

But not this time.

Deep in the backcountry, every ounce matters. Your legs burn, your shoulders ache, and that “just a few extra ounces” starts to feel like a mistake. That’s why we built a true lightweight chassis made specifically for left-handed shooters.

Now available: left-handed HNT26 for Tikka T3/T3x SA and Remington 700 LA rifles.DSC04318-Resized.jpg

APA Gen 4 Littel Bastard/ Fat Bastard

Looks like APA has come out with their latest generation of brakes. Curious to see how they perform in comparison to the ACE and new Hawkins updraft brakes.

https://www.americanprecisionarms.c...lf-timing-muzzle-brake?variant=41953707032673

From their website:

OUR SOFTEST RECOILING AND FLATTEST SHOOTING BRAKE EVER

APA is proud to introduce the Gen 4 Fat Bastard. The Gen 4 is a culmination of engineering improvements as well as a little bit of what you asked, we listened. As the long-range precision rifle community grows, the shooter has gotten more refined and discriminating. This has presented us here at APA with new challenges to improve.

Our goal for the last year in developing the 4th generation was two-fold; one to make the flattest shooting brake on the market and two, to create a low concussion maximum recoil reduction product. We are happy to announce that we did it!

The new calibrated U.R.P tunable top ports have been designed for maximum adjustment making the Gen 4 line of brakes the flattest shooting brakes available hands down. By testing port size, location, and how the gas feeds into them, we have been able to make these tunable top ports capable of generating zero vertical movement.

The new fine-tuned Bastard port has been engineered to decrease concussion while retaining maximum recoil reduction. In the muzzle brake community, there is an unwritten law that says “more concussion, more recoil reduction” and vice versa. This is something we really dug into, and we have found this to simply be not true. Borrowing from decades of research in the golf industry with their “sound is feel” philosophy, we wanted to figure out why a technically more effective and superior muzzle brakes would often anecdotally “feel” harsher even though the gun moved less and moved slower. Well, we had a eureka moment with how the sound or tone works in conjunction with the physical recoil. The new fine-tuned Bastard port and internal manifold produce a softer and sonically smoother recoil impulse by shaping the sound, into a lower frequency. The perception to the shooter is a much softer shooting rifle. This brake is easier on the ears and easier to stay in target, period.

Although the DNA remains the same, the new Generation 4 Fat Bastard Self-Timing Muzzle Brake is a completely new beast. It is flatter shooting, softer recoiling, more tunable, and easier to use than ever.

1.1" in Diameter, 3.3" In Length, and Weighs 6.4 oz

Made for barrel diameters of .8 to 1.1 inch.

The Gen 4 Fat Bastard can handle magnum cartridges.

Available in 6mm, 6.5mm & .308 (7mm) with more calibers to come.

• New optimally tuned top ports for maximum efficacy and tunability.

• New port design and internal manifold that is more efficient, and softer sounding.

• Caliber and level line machined on brake face.

• No Thread-tite necessary in top ports.

• Completely machined in our facility in Jefferson GA

Best 6GT dies?

I'm a long time reloader of pistol ammo and "plinking" .223, but I'm brand-spanky new in precision rifle reloading. I bought a good turret press and am shopping for dies, so looking for the best dies for 6GT. On the GAP website I see RCBS MatchMaster 2-die set, which includes a .266 bushing, and the Redding 2-die set, which is sold without bushing.
Any thoughts from the Hide on which is best, or is there an even better option, and if I go with the either, what size bushings should I be looking to buy if not .266?

Thanks!

MDT CRBN

Hello,

Is there anyone out there that’s fitted a Defiance Elite / Elite X to the MDT CRBN stock? Does it fit without modification?

I’ve contact Defiance who were very helpful but advised they where not sure and that they tend to recommend stocks that are specifically designed for they particularly actions, which makes perfect sense, but when you've done a fair bit of thinking and made you mind up on an action and a stock combination it’s hard to give up on it.

Thanks in advance

SOLD TRIM-IT 2 Case Trimmer (w/ Inserts for 6.5 CM, .308 WIN and 300 WM)

For sale: TRIM-IT II case trimmer with three caliber inserts, 6.5 CM, 300 WM and .308 WIN. Also included is an extra NIB three-way cutter w/ three-sided carbide cutting blade. Use as a back up or to switch from 30 cal and 6.5 without resetting the diameter of the cutter blade.

Trims, chamfers and deburs your brass simultaneously using either a hand-held drill or drill press. This is superior to the Giraud 3-way because you don’t need to buy a trimmer for a new caliber, just buy an insert here: https://www.blackwidowshooters.com/shop. Also superior to the Little Crow WFT because it also chamfers and de burrs.

Package would cost $345 (plus tax and shipping) new. $180, shipped. Willing to sell inserts separately for $22, shipped. PP or Venmo F&F accepted. ***SOLD***
