Just had a question after using a Bore Scope today. Normally i don’t use these often, but having a weird gas issue with another rifle so wanted to check my new 16.5” Proof 6.5cm custom bolt build. Approx 65 rounds fired and did a barrel break in as well and want to make sure i didn’t do this or if its just weird machine marks. Barrel shot good and accurate no issues. Anyways the first 1/4 of the barrel looks rough but last half looks perfect. Anyway here are some pictures and it was also build by Altus which i know they do good work and never had an issue just wanted to see what’s normal. I believe last picture is where it looks good which is about half way until the end of barrel.

Lightly used. The only wear I can find is very minor on the corners in front of the magwell from some barricade shooting. It is otherwise very clean. Includes the chassis, full internal five-piece weight set, four external m-lok weights, Baker wings, and stock weight (not pictured but it is included). I can grab more pictures when I pull the action out. Right now it is acting as storage/protection for the trigger and internal magwell.

The barreled action, scope/mount, bipod, etc. are NOT included and not for sale. This is for the chassis and weights/wings only.

I am working up some loads for a new rifle (22GT) and the chamber seems a bit tight. I am using a hornady OAL gauge like I always do to figure out what length to load at. I have done this on dozens of rifles and never experienced this before. While I can fit the modified case (that I bought from Alpha) or my new Alpha brass in the chamber all the way by hand it takes a lot of force and is fairly difficult to pull out. It can be inserted and removed by hand but barely. After trying this numerous times I can see the wear marks on the brass and it is uniform across the body. It iis not the neck or shoulder. Is this anything to be concerned about?
