Great condition SWFA 6x Milquad reticle. I picked this up as a spare off another member on here and ended up acquiring a 3-9 as well. I don’t have a need for another 6x at the moment so letting this one go. I noticed one small mark on the tube just in front of the parallax (shown in the photo). Glass is clean and rest of the scope is good to go.

For Sale: Winchester 1885 Low Wall Limited Edition High Grade .22 LR

This Winchester/Miroku 1885 low wall in .22 LR appears to be a limited run deluxe model. It has wonderful, gold accented engravings on its polished blue receiver, depicting a pair of squirrels on the right and three rabbits on the left. The barrel is a 24 ½ inch half octagon barrel and it is all sitting in a set of beautiful figured walnut stocks. New condition, very few rounds fired through it. No box. Gun will ship in a gun case. There is one scratch on the stock from moving guns around in a gun safe. Attached photos show details.

Have 2x AXMC bolt bodies and firing pins that have been bushed and turned to 1.6mm / .062" small firing pins by LRI.

One 308 and one 300WM, both bushed, as well as 2x turned down firing pins. 300WM bolt has about 300 rounds on it and 308 bolt has about 800 rounds on it. Never any pierced primers or other issues, they worked perfect and LRI did a great job. Headspace only changed about 0.001" after the bushing job so prefits still work.

Selling because I decided to spend the big bucks on the factory 1.6mm small firing pin bolts, only to find out it's far easier to get a replacement large 2mm AXMC firing pin than a small 1.6mm factory AI firing pin-- Mile High, Euro, and Sporting Services stock the AXMC 2mm large firing pins but don't have a part number to order the factory AI 1.6mm small firing pins by themselves, so rather than being able to order a $100 1.6mm firing pin for your current bolt shroud you have to order a $560 1.6mm firing pin and shroud assembly or a $900 complete 308 sfp bolt. Totally ridiculous, and I'm dealing with that right now... neither MHSA nor Euro could order me a factory 1.6mm AXMC firing pin by itself for the factory SFP bolts, and Sporting Services is still working on it with AI UK.

For as good as their rifles are it always sucks getting parts from AI.

Asking $400 for 1 bolt and 1 firing pin or $750 shipped and insured for both bolts and both firing pins. Would prefer to sell together.

I’m on the post Cataract surgery side in my support/weak eye and wondering how a shooter deals with shots from the support side with compromised vision. Before surgery I was 20/440 and now am closer to 20/40 in that eye. My focus is more for hunting, but see it possible in some competitions too.

I have a tikka t3 308 with a 20 moa rail and 3 mags & a 3-15 vortex gen 2 pst arc rings asking 1500 obo for it ill throw in some 7-08 brass that's been necked up to 308 as well. Ill get pics posted later today. Not looking for trades unless it's a 300 norma or 338 norma barreled action.

I'm looking at snagging a Midas Tac while they're on sale but not sure which one. There's the initial version, HD and now HD Gen 2. It's about $200ish difference between the first version all the way to the HD Gen 2 with the regular HD in the middle. For some hunting and light range work, what would you guys recommend?

I posted this in an exiting thread in the Rimfire forum and wanted to give it standalone one here.

Element Optics (https://element-optics.com/) is a new scope brand backed by FX Airguns. The Nexus is their flagship scope, it’s made in Japan and is a 5-20x50mm design. It’s also FFP and is available in mrad or moa with two reticle options for each. The scope sits at $1500 and is designed for use on piston Airguns up to 50bmg.

The postman stopped by this morning and handed me an Element Optics Nexus. I had been bouncing around between the Optika6, Nexus and NX8. So far I’m impressed with the scope. I bought the mrad version with the APR-1D reticle.

I’ve gotten it mounted on the Brocock Bantam Sniper PCP (.177cal) and zeroed at 30yds. The scope is made in Japan and is a quality instrument, fit and finish are top notch and all of the controls have a good feel. The magnification ring is on the stiff side but not too bad, magnification increases CW which I found interesting as I don’t think I’ve had a scope that does that. Turrets have a good feel and distinct clicks, they feel very similar to the K312 and K624 turrets. Zero stop is easy to set and the rev indicator is marked out as the turrets translate up and down as you move them. Parallax turns smooth and easy, it goes down to 10yds (primary feature for me since its on an air rifle). Illumination knob is pretty stiff but distinct with off positions between each level.

Optical quality is very good, the lenses are clear, bright and resolve detail well. So far I’ve only been able to use it in bright daylight but so far it compares well to scopes in this price range and above. It’s easy to get behind with generous eye relief at low power and tightens up as you increase magnification (no surprises), it’s still fairly easy to get behind at max power. I do see a thin yellowish ring around the perimeter but otherwise have not noticed any other optical effects. Parallax is more sensitive than I am used to but I suspect it’s part of the design that gets it down to 10yds (maybe ILya will chime in when He gets some time on his Nexus).

The reticle is a nice tree design with floating dot. It is thin but usable at 5x and not too thick at 20x. The illumination is daylight bright at the higher settings so you can t to help at low power and dark backgrounds (and/or low light).

Overall, I’m happy with my choice. We is on par with the NX8 2.5-20 and length is a little over an inch and a half longer. I think the scope should do well, it adds a good option for people that need the close parallax and while the 4x erector isn’t sexy these days it should do fine on a centerfire rifle.

I’ll post more thoughts later as I get to work with it more in more varied conditions.

Cheap Chinese knock off NGAL. Supposed to be full power. Red laser. Idk if it's potted or not. Vis laser works. IR laser shows up with a phone camera so it works. No idea if they hold zero or not.
