I may be looking for a Unicorn, I thought I would check with the Hide mind.

I have been doing quite a bit of pest and predator hunting since 2021. As I have become more exposed to it, incorporating a thermal device seems like the way to go at this point. What I would ideally like to do is have a thermal that serves three different functions. 1) I would like it to be a inline clip on that sits in front of my day optic. 2) I would like to be able to use it as a hand held for scanning. 3) If it can do the first two, I would love to be able to attach it to a bridge and use it helmet mounted sometimes. Of the three wishes, the one that is most important to me is the inline. If I can get a thermal that I can mount and it does not impact zero very much, that would be ideal. I would also like to keep the total cost at or below $7,500.

A few months ago, I came across a very nice 1967 Model 70 Match Rifle. It has the beavertail stock, target barrel and a short rail up front. Been wanting one for several years and at last found one at a reasonable price. I have several pre-64s in my collection, but this configuration has always appealed to me.

When I took delivery, the first thing I had to do was get a scope on it. I had a set of bases for the Model 70, but these were a no-go. Neither pre- nor post-64 bases fit the rear holes.

I did some research and discovered my rifle was built on the 300 Holland length action and had the .437" hole spacing for the rear base.

EGW makes a picatinny base, but I wanted a more traditional look. Here are some pics of what I found that that fits this model Winchester 70.

I am looking for a reloading tray that allows you to nicely place cases mouth down. I have been using the cardboard trays from lapua packaging and really like being able to set the cases in the tray mouth down for certain parts of my process but would like to find something a little more durable/long term and am hoping somebody on here has a recommendation. Mostly load 6.5creed and 308 for reference.

Mounted a few scopes in it, solid mount never had any issues with geissele. Believe this one is discontinued and they don't make 20moa mounts anymore, could be wrong, do your own research. 150 ppff

Hi folks. I've been considering a TVT QDT for a while and just noticed the new 65mm ball head. Anyone have any reviews of the 65mm ball head and comparison with the 55mm head? The gun is right on the 20lbs mark, so I'm not sure whether the 55mm head would be stable enough. Thanks in advance.
