I’ve built 2 exact gun profiles in kestrel and the fury, and they are off from each other by a couple tenths. I was thinking my bore height was wrong on one of them but I triple checked. Not sure where the problem is but the kestrel has been giving me the correct data. I’ve done 4 different profiles, 2 lined up and 2 did not.

These are not in their original boxes. I had them in a Plano box so I counted them by weight. Total number may be +/- a few bullets. Currently going for $170/k online right now. Asking $260 shipped for all 1870 of them. They shot great, I just don't have a 40 or 10mm anymore.

I’ve got Remington 700 BDL short action in 6-284 and running mostly 87gr V-max’s . I’ve been thinking about putting it in a chassis but not sure if there’s any box mags out there that will work . Any input would be appreciated

Vice President Kamala Harris’s hometown paper, the Los Angeles Times, will not deliver a 2024 presidential endorsement.


The paper’s lack of an endorsement is a slight to Harris. The Times endorsed President Joe Biden in 2020, Hillary Clinton in 2016, and Barack Obama in 2012 and 2008.


The decision not to endorse Harris came from the paper’s owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shion, Semafor’s Max Tani reported Tuesday:

[A]ccording to two people familiar with the situation, executive editor Terry Tang told editorial board staff earlier this month that the paper would not be endorsing a candidate in the presidential election this cycle, a decision that came from the paper’s owner Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, a doctor who made his fortune in the healthcare industry.
The paper did not explain its decision, though it noted at the bottom of its online endorsement page that “the editorial board endorses selectively, choosing the most consequential races in which to make recommendations.”

It wouldn’t be the first time since he bought the paper in 2018 that owner Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong had overruled the wishes of the paper’s editorial board. In 2020, the paper met with Democratic candidates for president for interviews with the intention of making a pick in the race. But after deciding to endorse Elizabeth Warren in the Democratic, at the last minute Soon-Shiong overruled its leadership and said there would be no endorsement in the primary race (the paper endorsed Joe Biden in the general election).

After Richard Nixon won reelection in 1972 and then resigned from the presidency in the wake of Watergate, the paper stopped endorsing candidates. Throughout Nixon’s career, the Times had backed the California Republican throughout his House, senate, and presidential campaigns. Its next endorsement came about 30 years later in 2008.

My buddy and I are looking to get a couple radios to keep in the trucks for communication when out in the woods and exploring the various canyons and some small caverns in the area. I started looking on Amazon but this is one area I have zero knowledge in. We have access to radios we use on the church security team but we tried them less then 2 miles apart the other day and couldn't even receive static.

So what we are looking for is good quality sound, reliable, and acceptable distance. I don't even know what to expect as acceptable? 2 miles, 5? We don't need a billion channels, doesn't have to be water proof to 600 feet or anything. Oh ya, we want it to be possible to use something like a lapelle mic and pigtail earpiece so we can talk quietly and have the sound go no further than our ear.

Of course it has to do all this for $10. Just kidding, quality comes at a price, but we are simple tradesmen with families and homes to pay for so nothing that's stupid expensive please
