Thanks man, as soon as I saw it in person against the elite sand I had to have it. It looks awesome and as much as I loved my ZCO, I'm glad to have this TT.

Here’s a thumbhole on an AX AICS; same principle.

All you need is a a standard hinged butt skeleton and all the plastic pieces. You’ll also be changing from a right folder to a left folder, so you’ll have to disassemble, drill and tap the chassis for the male portion of the latch mechanism when it folds to the left.

Could have , I use torque wrenches but my gunsmith put it on by hand once .
Probably came loose during the match and I didn't catch it.
I shot a couple Long range matches with a 338 lapua improved and did not recheck this match

Nope, just appeared after a range session. No parent material involved, only the bead itself cracked. AINA took care of it, outstanding customer service.

I actually did a "field expedient" repair and used that bolt the next weekend. AI has the tolerances very close on the fit between the bolt handle and body( at least on mine it was) so the JB weld probably would have held for a considerable amount of time. I would have been completely happy with a reweld considering the amount of rounds on the bolt. But AINA went ahead and sent me a brand new bolt, awesome service!

I’ll let you know if my ASR with 300NM goes south. Maybe it’ll be next year when I use it for the 3rd time, at the NF ELR. So far, AI solicitation rifles have been money for me.

But I’m just a regular joe

Mine came loose at the NF ELR this year. Around the 13th stage of day one I noticed it. Torqued them down and been good since.

It looks like the AXSR manual gives 2 torque specs. Page 2.1 is 49 in-lbs on the chart and page 3.5 recommends 53 in-lbs for refitting the fore-end.

Fantastic time in 106 degree heat and 20-30mph winds, I love being challenged and this was definitely a challenge, and what a great group of guys, look forward to the next shoot.
