Roughly 3.5 lbs.Wow! How much weight do you have on the rail?
Here’s a thumbhole on an AX AICS; same principle.

All you need is a a standard hinged butt skeleton and all the plastic pieces. You’ll also be changing from a right folder to a left folder, so you’ll have to disassemble, drill and tap the chassis for the male portion of the latch mechanism when it folds to the left.

Tried to find some last night. Long gone.Yeah sweet - any pics of the completed rifle/chassis?
Could have , I use torque wrenches but my gunsmith put it on by hand once .Could the bolts have been over torqued and fractured?
Nope, just appeared after a range session. No parent material involved, only the bead itself cracked. AINA took care of it, outstanding customer service. The bolt lift get ya?
Super glue will fix that!@reubenski is about to have a field day with this lol

It just needs a shim probably
I heard the AT-X bolts and handles are one piece turned from billet
I actually did a "field expedient" repair and used that bolt the next weekend. AI has the tolerances very close on the fit between the bolt handle and body( at least on mine it was) so the JB weld probably would have held for a considerable amount of time. I would have been completely happy with a reweld considering the amount of rounds on the bolt. But AINA went ahead and sent me a brand new bolt, awesome service!Jb weld for a field repair![]()

I’m gonna rattlecan my AT.
For those who have done the same…Do I need to mask off the action or can I just go at it? Or am I better off yanking the skins?
