Suppressors Form 4 wait time

So if I used the kiosk already for my first three (bought at the same time), next time I do not have to repeat that?
Silencer Shop? No. Once it has your info and fingerprints you are good to go. You only have to update your pic on your phone once a year.

I just got a YHM Fatcat through Silencer Shop and I was able to do much of what I needed to do through a local gunshot that had a kiosk. Order placed on 4/15. Silencer arrived at my local shop on 4/24. I got my email from ATF on 4/28, but my shop is closed on Mondays. Picked it up 4/29.

All in all, I've heard of things happening faster, but I'm not complaining. I think I'll likely stick with Silencer Shop for future purchases. They made it as painless as I'd imagine it could be.

Maybe too easy. I got one in Feb, one in March and just got my third in April! lol

This.

Silencer doesn't have to be bought from silencershop. Just the "paperwork".

Ex: I bought 3 directly from Aero. Aero form 3'd them to my dealer. Dealer then did the silencershop online forms to me...I paid silencershop the stamp fee's.

Probably still has to be a silencer shop dealer tho. Dunno for sure...

Note: + transfer costs of your FFL if NOT buying from silencershop (normally no fee if bought thru them). So there's that too. Forgot how much transfers were, wasn't much tho.

For me my transfer fee plus SS paperwork comes out to $100 for the ones I have bought elsewhere.

Riding along with the new owners of my LGS while they tackled the learning curve of being a new FFL and a SOT was at times frustrating

But, finally, after three months of wrangling their ducks into a V formation they got my Huxwrx Ventum in and paperwork submitted on April 25

Our favorite agency 🙄😄approved my form 4 today, May 8.

Not as quick as some but a helluva lot faster than the 11 months my last two took.

I am anxious to see how it compares to the Nomad L I was using on the gas guns.

LMAO. Yup. Shopping for a 9mm silencer right now. If they had the R9 in stock, the money would already be spent.
R9 is a great can at 400.( I have one) But at current prices I would grab a hux 9ti or something lighter. The kgm 9smg is a killer can as well.

Yeah, the Hux 9ti is the other one I'm looking at. What I'm looking for foremost with this can is sound suppression and what I'm seeing is that the r9 does a better job. Not worried about weight. The rig this is going on has a 5" barrel and is pretty light anyway.

I'm still on the fence.

And the Omega 9k. Geez, decisions.

Capitol Armory has TBAC Fly 9's and Fly 45's in stock right now. Talk about decisions. I'm on the fence about a Fly 45, however I've bought 5 suppressors this year and my wife might shit a brick if I buy another one.. Or worse, go spend what I spend...😂
Nothing a Tiffany's box doesn't solve. You get a suppressor she gets jewelry.

Wow. I haven’t done a form 1 in a while but they were much faster a year or two ago. I wonder what the hold up is there.
Yeah, not sure. I did one a couple years ago and it went 8 months with no movement so I withdrew it. Never got anything that said I was missing anything or anything, just silence. So trying again this time.

Here it is. Eforms is 16 days...way past that with no updates. Called the other day too and the dude was not helpful at all. Just said submitted this date, I was like yeah. Gave him trust name too. Got nothing out of him.
