Except my SOT had me go through Silencer Shop and it took a good month to get the paperwork ready to submit, so there’s that.

I live in BFE, the closest kiosk is two hours any direction, so that one had to go snail mail.Through Silencer Shop? They have been super quick for my three. My first through them took about 10 days with paperwork and starting on their site. Their process is easy. Did you not have a Kiosk close by?
Least ways you only have to do the kiosk once!I live in BFE, the closest kiosk is two hours any direction, so that one had to go snail mail.
I bought my second from Joe Bob’s in Hays, and they have their own kiosk. That process was indeed fast.

Silencer Shop? No. Once it has your info and fingerprints you are good to go. You only have to update your pic on your phone once a year.So if I used the kiosk already for my first three (bought at the same time), next time I do not have to repeat that?
I just got a YHM Fatcat through Silencer Shop and I was able to do much of what I needed to do through a local gunshot that had a kiosk. Order placed on 4/15. Silencer arrived at my local shop on 4/24. I got my email from ATF on 4/28, but my shop is closed on Mondays. Picked it up 4/29.
All in all, I've heard of things happening faster, but I'm not complaining. I think I'll likely stick with Silencer Shop for future purchases. They made it as painless as I'd imagine it could be.
LMAO. Yup. Shopping for a 9mm silencer right now. If they had the R9 in stock, the money would already be spent.Maybe too easy. I got one in Feb, one in March and just got my third in April! lol
