thanks! no, its just a charles daly. its currently in the shop... the locking block wont let the action open, soooo now im borrowing my grandpas sbeII. im thinking of going baretta. mhmmm!
took this tom the other night using lightforce walkabout and my 22-250. he came in directly to the left of my brother who was on the shotgun. well within shotgun range, i knew he couldnt see the cat cause he was sitting lower and was hesitant to come closer sitting about 75 yards so holding the light on an elevated ledge, i swung my rifle over and took him. second stand of the night at about seventeen minutes at about 7:50pm.

Thanks. I actually traced your posts and found the specs you had posted earlier. I'm dropping my 18" 6.5 Creedmoor into a T5A. I chose the Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 with Ballistic Turrets for my scope and I will be running BDL set up. I'll post some pics when I get it all put together.
They ain't exactly predators but we were predator hunting when we ran onto em. My 10 year old and that AR wreaked hell on these 3!! The big sow on the left weighed 175lbs.

ditto! He already cries when I leave with my stuff.
Thanks guys! Yeah he was still grinning 3 days later! A 223 ain't the best hog caliber out there but it sure puts their tits in the dust when you bust that earhole!!
Yassir, he's smiling like a puppy that just found a second peter! That youngin' of yours is turning into a sharpshooter!
For all my troubles, morning before last, I had 'yotes all around me. ended up with a possum and crow. so at least y'all had something you could nibble on.
Called in three a couple months back. Was running KI-YI call early in the morning...was only able to down one of them, but it was a kick...first time I had called them in, and the first time I had ever tried using a mouth call!
This is my most successful attempt to blow the head completely off of something (been trying a long time). The result is from a 75gr Vmax out of a 6mm AI at 17 yards.
Catwhacker - yeah, you've seen us at Graham before. We're probably not going to hunt tournaments this year and focus on filming. It seems like we always say screw bringing the camera when we hunt tournaments because it's just an added PITA, and that's when we hunt the best country.
We didn't hunt Graham last year because of the $. We hunted San Angelo & Ballinger instead. It'd be just blind ass luck for us to kill a big enough cat to win Angelo, but we can usually make a run @ most cats or dogs. Angelo had 162 teams & Graham had 21 last March
