Cadex Defence, flaunt it if you've got it!

I used Magpul AI and Alpha mags without any issues. I think they should run any of the mags available.

I also use accurate mags. This is what the Cadex rifles come with. So pleanty of good options. The Magpul mags on my 300 wm don't work very well have to sand the top down a bit as the feed lips are too tall and won't let the mag seat fully. Just what I found. No idea if it's the same on the SA guns.

Anybody rebarrel a factory Cadex yet? I have a proof CF blank I'm thinking about having MHshooting rebarrel my 24inch 300 win mag to a 26in. Should save some weight and get me a little velocity. Should have gone 26 from the start so this is me making up for regretting to get the longer barrel from the start.

My 6mm Creedmoor
Rem 700 SA
Bartlein 25” Straight Taper
APA Fat Bastard
Timney Calvin Elite
Cadex Dual Strike
Nightforce ATACR F1 7-35 Tremor3
SPUHR Mount
Harris Bipod

Shoots Hornady factory ammo lights out(5 shot group at 100 pictured). Working on my handloads as well.

Noobie question here.. but I'm looking to purchase the Dual strike chassis and wondering if its possible to get the left hand version cheek piece on the right handed action chassis? Think ive seen it posted here a few times but cant find anything about it. Can you order the cheek piece separately?

I know the rifles come with both. If you buy a chassis and it doesn't come with the LH cheek piece, shoot me a PM and I'll send you mine.

Anybody here have a Strike Nuke to post up? I’ve never seen one in the wild and I’m wondering if anyone actually has one.... or it’s just a myth ;)

Few question in reference to the Light Strike LONG action Chassis with a TL3 Long Action:

One, does Cadex make magazine sleeves that will AICS short mags. (Switch barrel build)

Two, anyone see any 30-06 mags that are 10 rounders?

Three, does the AI 300 win mag DOUBLE stack 10rnd mag if in the chassis? PN: AI- 26091BL

Four, in reference to the integrated 20moa top scope rail, can it be removed to use the pinned scope base on my TL3 LA. If not, does the integrated rail also physically mount to my action via a screw or does it just sit flush with the top of the action when the scope base is removed?

Anyone who uses the integrated top rail, is the rail solid in the fact that it won’t move? I’m concerned with POI shifts if the integrated rail doesn’t screw into the top of my action so I’m looking for opinions and reviews on that.

I’m deployed overseas still waiting to take delivery of the Light Strike Chassis.

Got my questions answered by some reps. I’m going with the Lite Competition.

Bought a Lite Competition for my Bighorn TL3. What’s the minimum height rings I’ll need for a S&B 3-27x56 using the Bighorn 20 MOA rail?

Anyone have any idea what the biggest OD barrel you can fit in a Long Action Lite Competition chassis? I’m trying to get a 1.25” straight contour which I think is fine but want to double check.

Looking into a competition chassis for a vector build.

Is there an arca rail add on the the competition forend?

I got the chassis option for the Henderson precision rail and it fits great. You’re gonna have to modify your fore end for the vector rail and barrel set screws.

Why for the rail? The set screws I can see, but I won’t be changing barrels on the range. I figured I’d just take the forend off to swap.

I was also planning on taking off the forend to swap calibers. I know the dual and lite strike would require some mods because of the top rail they have, but not sure why the lite comp would? Definitely curious about this.

I may have spoken too soon on the fore end, looks like I have the lite strike fore end on that one, and a small amount needed to be ground to accommodate the rail (talking about scope rail). Not sure you’d have to grind at all on the comp fore end. I’ll check when I get home. Sorry!

Yup, so modification only necessary on lite strike fore end, not the comp for Vector scope rail. sorry for the confusion!

Defiance machine action, Krieger barrel, area 419 break, trigger tech diamond. 6.5 creedmoor. Machine work by sac. I always wanted a chassis and now I did a build with one and I’m not sure I like it. I haven’t fired it yet so I’ll wait and see. Its tough to move away from what your comfortable with. still saving up for a scope hopefully a night force atacr.

I have a mtu contour in mine. It’s 1.25 for the first 3 inches. Fits no problem. I believe cadex says 1.25 is the max size.

Likely not the ideal place for a question on chassis parts, but is there a specific mag adapter to allow for CIP length mags in their Strike Lite R700 pattern LA? I have a 300WM barreled action that likes 'em long. If so, did the chassis come with different adapters or do you just have to buy them separately?

Buy them separately. EO has them in stock.

Mr Tooley rebarreled my factory 24 inch 300 win mag with a 26 inch proof CF in 300 PRC. Put on a 5 inch Rugged Micro 30 suppressor. Took 2 lbs off with just the barrel and then another half lb from the suppressor swap. 3.850 mags now also.

I love the comp forend. My chassis is one of the tac models. I ordered a comp forend to fit my defiance and Nucleus actions.

JWK how is the recoil with this set up? I am tossing around a similar build

Honestly I can't tell much of a difference. Obviously not able to shoot it back to back with the 300 win mag that it was, but it's not bad at all. I don't get that feeling that it really recoils that bad as I do on some lighter Magnum rifles. Without the can and just the muzzle brake, I could shoot it all day long. But the can increases it a bit but nothing that would deter me from doing it again. Really don't notice any much difference at all. It is very similar to 300 win mag.

Awesome man, thanks. The rifle will share the same can and optic as my 338LM for a while. Most likely the can for a very long time

I guess this can come here too. Tikka T3x action, DMR spun barrel in a Cadex Lite Strike. First shots were fired out of it this morning.

That’s a nice rifle!

What brake is on your rifle?
It’s an Impact Precision brake. I wanted a Cadex brake, but it seemed like it might be too big. The Impact brake is similarly chunky but more appropriately sized. It works pretty well too, I was spotting my hits from 400-600 today pretty easily.

My Lite Strike did as well, and based on the instructions book, I’m fairly certain they all will.
